Recipes with love and humor
I have to be honest I’m not an avid reader by any means but this book Eating and Living Deliberately is a very special book. Besides the great Greek recipes I truly enjoyed the stories of Dianna and her grandparents. Her writings are so witty and intriguing and filled with so much love and compassion. This writer makes me want to keep reading. I definitely would recommend this book😊👍

Great recipes with a story too!
It’s not just a recipe book. It’s nice to read the stories behind the recipes and to know that the recipes come right from the natives of Ikaria. The author paints a picture with words of what it is like to be with her family. I almost felt that I was there at the table with them!

Enjoyed reading this book.
I'm a Greek expat and enjoyed this book since it brought memories from the home cooking and small Greek village of my youth. I also enjoyed the recipes scattered here and there throughout the book.

Interesting and challenging
I find the foods or ingredients a little difficult to find in our supermarkets or farms out here. But the receipes very interesting and somewhat a challenge.

Beautiful, well written
Beautiful, well written. The recipes are ready to follow. The writer takes us on a beautiful journey while teaching us a different way to look at and prepare food.
