However, this is amazing! I had to teach a class with a hundred and fifty people in it, most elderly and everybody heard me perfectly. No feedback at all. I would definitely buy this again if I needed another one. Came charged and ready to go out the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This device works great, and I bought an aftermarket lavalier mike (see ... *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2017* I'm known as a 'quiet talker', and its especially problematic during board meetings where its not big enough for a speaker system, but the rooms too large to be heard at my tone and volume of voice unassisted with no microphone/speaker. This device works great, and I bought an aftermarket lavalier mike (see my other review), and paired together is perfect. Last board meeting we had a glass roof and it was raining pretty hard. It was difficult at best to hear people, but I was loud and clear. People came up to be afterwards and complimented me on my report - but I know it was because they could hear me without straining that made the difference. Its a bit sensitive to feedback, so I put it on the floor and with the aftermarket microphone with long cord, it was perfect. Highly recommend for us 'quiet talkers', per Seinfeld. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the Job and Feels Like a More Expensive Voice Amplifier *by P***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2016* I ordered this portable voice amplifier shortly before the event I needed it for, so I was counting on it being the right one. Happy to say it met nearly all my expectations: It was loud enough for the room, designed to hold 100 people. It's made of metal, so it's sturdy, although just slightly heavier than other brands that are plastic, but not a problem for me. A belt is supplied or you can use your own...or as in my case, I just hung the belt clip on the side of the front pocket of my jeans. This position kept it slightly farther from the mic, and reduce the possibility of feedback from the mic being to close to the speaker. (It does bark if you bring those two too close.) At first the microphone appeared flimsy but was not a problem at all. TIP--It does need to nearly rest on your lips, as the volume falls off quickly even an inch away from your mouth. My only disappointment was that I was unable to use a lapel mic (my own, not supplied).
