It feels stable with those weights but I haven’t tried anything higher! **Q: Is the pass soft enough to do heavy hip thrusts without a it hurting?** A: Yes! It has a nice thickness to it that is soft enough to not hurt but firm enough that it doesn’t swish down too much. My only thing is tat it comes with straps to attach it to the bar since it has a slit length wise to get it on and off the bar. Make sure you strap it on or the bar can go through it and it hurts! I had it happen while I was doing squats and had a bruise and some scrapes across my shoulders from the bar hitting me. It came in a very near package with both the pad and straps! The neck pad for the barbell provides a nice amount of padding without compromising my form while i lift! The ankle straps are also very sturdy and hold to my ankle really well during cable lifts. They were really great to give me that extra help for when I want to do leg workouts with the cable machine! Overall, I highly recommend this product. It gave me a very high satisfaction with the padding and straps! Completely recommend buying!!
