Is this stylus good for signing the occasional PDF on my iPad Air without looking like I used a regular Sharpie?

What is the tip made of? Is it mesh or more like rubbery sponge?

Hello, Joey,I'm Kate from the Friendly Swede.  These styluses have a hollow rubber tip that has some "give" to it, i.e., if you press down on the tip with your finger, it will collapse. Can the rubber tip be replaced with a mesh tip?

No. I know this because my husband and I use each kind. Friendly Swede makes a great mesh tip extra long as well as the rubber tip. Not interchangeable.

Is this stylus quite thin? I have trouble holding thick pens, pencils and need a very slim stylus to fit my small fingers.

They are the thinnest stylus pens we carry and are much thinner than most stylus pens I have used. As some of our kind customers have commented below, they are about the size of your average pencil, perhaps slightly thinner.
