A subject dear to children’s hearts is in the spotlight as Leslie Patricelli’s beloved baby character returns. Everybody does it: Kitty, Doggie, Daddy — even Mommy! And when Leslie Patricelli’s beloved bald baby does it while running, it sounds like a train. This frank and very funny look at a certain noisy body function is perfectly suited to the youngest of listeners, while their giggling older siblings will be happy to read it aloud. Review: I toot in the tubby! - FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIME Only flaw is that it reads in one part that “Daddy’s toots are loud...Mommy’s toots are quiet”. That’s wronger than wrong in our house, so we swap it out when we read it. Mommy’s proud of her farts. I seriously have this book memorized, we love it that much. My kiddo is only 8 months but because we read it so much and have such a fun time, he instantly recognizes the cover of the book and grins! The illustrations are simple and pages are brightly colored so it’s one of few books that can hold his attention without being overwhelming at this age. And the weight and thickness of the book/pages is good for him to hold. We really love this book. ALL TOOTS ARE FUNNY!!!! Review: My son's favorite book! - This is the first book my son ever REALLY paid attention to and enjoyed. The pages are colorful and have simple drawings on them. The little baby is perfect and even when he was only a few months old, my son was actually looking at the pages of the book while I read along (especially the second page, which is a close up of a smiling baby face). The story is cute, with lots of opportunity to improvise various fart noises (this is both my husband's AND my son's favorite part). I checked this bad boy out from the library for about 4 months straight before I finally bought my son his own copy, and it's our go-to book when he's fussy (that page 2 almost always elicits a grin). The book itself is a solid board book. The pages are nice and thick, the graphics cleanly printed, and the edges are smoothed down. Colors are bright, text is easy to read. This is just a super cute book, and I love it!

Fun for Kids and Adults!
We love most books by this author, but this one is an absolute favorite in our family. Both of my kids have loved reading it over and over. My son had very few words for a while, but he could request “Toot” by name! lol There was definitely nothing cuter than his little baby voice saying “Toot.” The book has a fun cadence and is silly, but also helps kids not feel embarrassed about toots. Everybody does it!

Rooty Toot Toot! Toots ARE FUNNY!
The first book I found by Leslie Patricelli was Hop Hop. It was Easter and I had something else picked out for my grandson when I happened upon that book. I enjoyed the illustrations and the story and decided to get him that book instead. He loved it and I loved it so I got online with Amazon and went in search of more and Amazon did not disappoint. After looking through all of this author's titles I ended up selecting Toot and The Birthday Box. The illustrations of this baby are the most adorable drawings ever, I fell in love with this baby immediately. My grandson (now 8 months) loves his books and loves for me to read them to him and show him the pictures. I can't wait to buy more. While I was purchasing the Toot and Birthday Box books, Amazon also had a stuffed version of this baby for sale, I bought that too. We have the "baby" with us whenever we read the books to our grandson

Cute
There's a baby shower coming up, and the new one has a four-year-old brother who will absolutely love "reading" it to his baby brother. Nothing you could name would be more amusing to young kids. The illustrations are adorable and the book is nice and sturdy. I'm not sure how the algorithm targeted me for this one, but it landed a winner.

Best Book
I recently had to go to a baby shower, where many books and educational type items were requested. I purchased this book because I’m all about bodily awareness but also toots are funny. I knew that eventually the baby would grow out of wanting cutesy books about shapes, and in early stages of reading, may find reading to a younger sibling about toots is top-tier comedy. I did not anticipate the joy and laughter that this book would bring to the adults in the room, though, so I can see that it’s entertainment for the whole family!

Great series
We love the books in this series. Developmentally appropriate for really young toddlers, but funny enough to keep older kids engaged. I love that even the pets are included in the questions about farts. My son thinks it's hilarious. We also really love the Yummy yucky book from this author

Cute, funny...Toot!
I have a great sense of humor. My husband got this for me to read to our one year old daughter, haha She thinks it's funny, (must read in a funny voice). My daughter now makes "toot", sounds while we read this book and brings it to me randomly, then makes to "toot" sound. Very intelligent child. I'd like to add; the drawings in this book are cute and clear for little ones and is a good laugh for the whole family =D

Divertido y muy recomendable
Es una herramienta estupenda para casa. Muchas veces los niños por aguantarse los gases acaban poniéndose malitos y es un buen libro para desmontar el tabú y hablar del tema con naturalidad.

Great book
Really fun, colourful and well-illustrated book. Great for teaching little ones some of the sounds we make! Only downside is my son now responds to the word toot by blowing raspberries!
