Six year old approves
My six ye old loves it. He played it non stop at first and still keeps it in the rotation two months later so that a good sign. I tried to play and I was confused as to quo was who and how to switch from player to player but my son gets it so that's all that matters. It's similar to Super Smash Broa as far as it simply is a fighting game, but it's solely Marvel super heroes fighting. So if your kid or you is into that then u will probably like this game.

My son loves it
I bought this as a gift for my son but have found myself playing with him. We both love the game play, great graphics in the game and also has an interesting storyline. Highly recommended for Marvel fans and for fighting game players as well.

Relive the Secret Invasion
This fighting game, based in the Secret Invasion story line from the comics, has an unique game play mechanism.Instead of just button smashing like most fighting games, Battle for Earth uses the touch screen to execute the characters moves, the moves, while just a few, are more effective depending on the situation, witch gives a more strategic feeling to the battles.Another interesting feature is that you can control two characters during the battles in a Tag Team match sense. The game counts with several modes, witch includes Campaign, like i said before based in the Secret Invasion event, Arcade, Versus, Challenges, with special task for all characters, and Tournament, additionally Campaign and Arcade can be played in a Co-Op for two players. In the extras section you can find several images and other things related to the secret invasion, as well as section for the characters costumes, some of this costumes can be unlocked doing certain actions i the game modes, but others can only be downloaded The game however is not without is small issues, for one it can be some what repetitive, particularly during the Campaign mode, and it lacks some challenge and replay values.Overall the games is good, it looks great and it can be pretty fun, specially in multiplayer, it may not be as great as other fighting games out there, but if you are willing to try something different, you should give it a chance.

They said they like it. It is a favorite
My son enjoys it! I cannot comment too much on the game itself as I only buy them, I do not play them. :) That is daddy's job! They said they like it. It is a favorite!

Run as fast as you can, and in the other direction.
I was expecting a game similar to Marvel: Ultimate Alliance with a Wii U twist. This game is nothing short of the same sequences, same attack forms, and same screen gestures arranged in a way that is flashy and futuristic. The only thing pleasing about the game was the graphics, and even those weren't enough to keep my eyes open or the drool from mouth as I endlessly swiped my finger across the screen in the same gestures. Thanks, but no thanks.

A Mediocre Fighting Game
While its great that Marvel gave us a fighting game which pits a whole slew of fan favorites against one another to the backdrop of the incredible Secret Invasion story arc...the game feels like it should have been a mobile game. The Wii U uses the gamepad to do special moves and so forth, so it works in that regard. However, every fight feels tedious since you are doing the same basic movements over and over. Many characters, as varied as they are, sometimes feel very similar to others (by means of stats, moves, etc.) and unlocking everything can be a real chore.Overall, the game is fun if you want a more laid back and easy to learn fighting game of Marvel, though in general it feels like it was a mobile game that got a nifty upscale for consoles.

Buen juego
Un juego para chicos... fácil de entender... falta un poco más de profundidad

So disappointing
As both a fan of the movie and a fan of the comics, I was expecting something a lot more entertaining than this. This game is for elementary school children than have no problem swiping their fingers across the gamepad to create one of four moves. Please don't waste your money if this game is for you and YOU happen to be over the age of 12.
