I bought this as I wanted outlets up closer to my desktop. What I didn't count on was how efficient the charging outlets were. When using a high quality charge cord this charges as fast as my high amperage chargers. I highly recommend this unit if you want power and charging capability up close to your desktop. It mounts easily and it works very well.

This product worked out great for the desk I built for my son. It is a top mounted desk outlet. Read the add, it is not a surge suppressor, I connected it to a surge suppressor to protect all electronic gear attached to it. The power center came as pictured (template, outlet, screws, and attachment plate).

I mounted this into a stud in my unfinished basement to give me some more outlets higher up in the air. It works great. The mounting points are strong enough to let you push plugs in and pull them out with force. Just be sure the screws you mount it with are strong enough to hold it into the wood.

Would have liked a longer cord

Easy to install and works great on my end tables for charging phones and also gives me an outlet to plug in my vacuum. If the price had been more reasonable I would have given 5 stars.

I picked up two of these and mounted them on our night stands in about 15 minutes each (and I'm not a very handy guy). They're a simple way to add convenient AC and USB plugs just about anywhere. It includes the ability to mount "in-desk" (using a template to cut a hole in a desk), or externally. A flexible set of mounting brackets enable you to mount this just about anywhere you want.

I got the in desk version, and thought it would be more suitable for flush mounting than it is. It does have brackets on the ends for mounting, but is not a truly flush mount unit, because there are no flanges on the long sides to cover the hole you have cut in your desk.

It comes with a card that works as a cut-out template. That made it a lot easier to install. It has a long, heavy duty chord and works great inside the media council of my couch.
