The construction of this folding bike is up and beyond the name brand folding bike I had previously.I had been shopping sometime for a multi-speed folding bike with Disc Brakes. When I say multi-speed I’m referring to gears in the front as well as the rear. This 16 speed wasn’t exactly what I wanted but for the price I sacrificed one (1) gear in the rear. I saved $200.00 by going with this model over the one (1) I had been considering. My previous folder was only a seven (7) speed this is a 16 speed. The rear derailleur is a Shimano Altus but the front derailleur is a “Micro Shift” a brand I was unfamilar with.Again the previous folder had a twist grip shifter (I’m not a big fan of twist grips). This comes with “Micro Shift” rapid Fire Thumb shifters. Good copies of Shimano Rapid Fire Shifters. The “Micro Shift” shifters don’t indicate which gear you are in like the Shimanos do.I’ll learn to live with that. The “Disc Brakes” are manual ”Yinking” which are again good copies of the manual Shimano Disc Brakes.Comparing my old folder to the new Kespo “Aventure” the frame is what I noticed right off.The tubing used in this bike is larger and designed in such a way that it adds strength and appeal to the Bike. The seat is designed for the crotch in mind. It’s of the plastic design and I prefer the Brooks B17 saddle and have already placed an order for a new one (1).Another plus to this bike are the “Quick Release Wheels” again not available from the previous manufacturer. The front handlebars when folded back up into the riding position has a lock and a second lock which is easily spun into place for your safety. Also the lock which locks in place when the bike is fully opened has a second lock to keep everything from snapping apart while riding, again for your safety. The Bike package comes with nice shaped fenders and a rear rack (the rear rack was an additional charge on my previous folder).A feature not found on many other folders is the front handlebar adjustment. A quick release is used here to allow a twist of the handlebar which allows the rider to adjusted the handlebar to the most comfortable riding position. As with the other folder the handlebars can be move up or down matching the height of the rider. Now finally the tires are City Sleeker tires 1.50 x 20 with a PSI of only 43 lbs. They are no name brand tires. With the poundage of only 43 lbs I’m just not sure how long they’ll last. The previous folder tire pressure was at 65 lbs! They showed little wear after four (4) years of riding. The previous folder had “Street Tires” not “City Sleeker” tires. I prefer “City Sleeker” tires.I haven’t checked it out yet but the previous manufacturer offered a nylon bag to haul the folded bike in.I’m hoping Kespo does the same!We like to travel with our folders.Understand that our weather here in the Kansas City area has been to cool/cold for me test ride the bike but when I get the chance I’ll ride it and give a second review. The deal on this bike was the “Holiday Special” by the distributor. The savings was to great to pass up!Thanks “KESPOR” and “AMAZON!”

Kespor 16 Speed Folding Bike, Very Good Bike to use as your base!
I purchased two of these for my wife and myself on April 13, 2021. They each have over two hundred miles on them, so far so good. Like every new bike they needed tweaking to make them our own. The seats that come with the bikes are fine, but we needed more cushion so I put on Schwinn Cruiser padded seats. I changed out the handlebars on my bike to accommodate all my paraphernalia. We purchased them as camping trip bikes, but it’s turned out we use them all the time now. They came camping twice already; they are really great for navigating the hills at the campgrounds. I would give them Five Stars, but the front SHIMANO Micro Shift Derailleur is hard to operate. The SHIMANO Altus Rear Derailleur shifts just fine, also special thanks to Carol at K7Sport customer service.
