Color Changing Putty Fidget Toy for Kids Stress Relief and Therapy and Great ADHD Fidget Putty Toy That Changes Colors

I got these for my kids for Christmas. The purple/blue one works well, the purple/pink one doesn’t change color at all. The other two kind of change a little. That disappoints my kids who were excited to see the color change, but what I don’t like is how stiff this is. It’s very plastic feeling and is not very fun to play with. Unfortunately it was from Santa so I can’t return. If I were you, I would shop for a different putty.Update: After playing with these for 2 months, we are very happy with this putty. It is stiff at first, and doesn’t change color easily but after playing with it for many days it becomes softer and changes color more quickly. Each one does change to the color stated. Sometimes if it’s too warm it does get a bit sticky, not the best but it’s fine. I’m changing my review to 5 stars.

The putty itself is super stretchy and entertaining to play with. I got them as a college student to have something to keep my hands busy in class. This keeps me from being fidgety so I can pay better attention. I highly recommend for that!However, the color changing is kind of iffy. The purple to pink one changes really well and pretty dramatically. The green to lighter green one also changes color fairly well, but the color difference is not very dramatic. The red to yellow one only gets kind of orangy. I think the temperature to get it to change fully to yellow is just too high for the warmth of your hands to get the putty to. The purple to blue one does not change color whatsoever though. At least I can't get it to at all.The color changing doesn't bother me much though. and otherwise, it is a perfect putty

My students love the color changing, we have put little resin animals in them and they enjoy taking them out and playing with them. A lot of them seem to use it for calming because it is thick and takes some work to stretch unlike moon sand. As the teacher I love that it doesn’t make a huge mess like sand does and doesn’t stick to my tables

The Goody Putty Heat Sensitive Color Changing 4 Pack Great Slime Toy for Kids Stress Relief comes nicely packaged in 4 tins with plastic wrap around the Putty. The colors are beautiful.The feel is quite different from the Silly Putty and homemade putties as it is quite stiff. After working for 45 minutes, the putty became more pliable, but still quite stiff. I am not sure how long it will take to soften. I could pull it into long strands after a while, twist it and knead it, but it was still hard in one ball to play with.Pulling it like taffy seems to be the best way to work it, but making other shapes was not easy the first time out.I also had dropped a piece unknown to me onto a chair cushion and it took quite a bit of work to get that off...so parents beware. The strands would break apart while pulling it, which is how i dropped it onto the chair . There is a warning stating that the Goody Putty will stain clothing and furniture.I would recommend this putty more for older children or adults unless you have a playroom where it stays.

I have four kids so the four pack worked out perfectly for us. It's the same texture as silly putty in an egg, but it's a larger amount. My favorite part is that the tins screw open and closed which makes it so much easier for my kids to open and close them by themselves. Other putty we've tried have lids that pull on and off and you have to line it up just right a use quite a bit of force. The color changing is a fun bonus. It doesn't dry out, and it's FAR less messy than slime.

As a school counselor, I purchased these twice because they kept getting "borrowed" and not returned. These are a favorite of my students to fidget with while they talk, and they're always pleasantly surprised by the color change. I will gladly continue to purchase as they disappear inexplicably ;)
