SALVAVIDAS DE HIELO is the new studio album from Jorge Drexler featuring eleven tracks. All performing facets of this album (vocals, instrumentation & production) were orchestrated by Drexler himself. Always looking to create and introduce a different sounds to his music, here Drexler creates a well crafted album whose focal point is his vocals and the acoustic guitar, yet filled with various persussion sounds and rhythms, all originating from the guitar. Needless to say, this is an album long awaited by his many loyal fans throughout the world. It has taken Drexler three years to complete this album, and if his previous works are any indication, this will become another highly acclaimed project with many accolades to come.

Vinyl arrived scratched, but album is great.
It arrived scratched. I had to return it.However, I bought the album on iTunes and it's an amazing piece of art; as expected from such a great artist!

Excelente obra, pero llegó en mal estado
Supongo que porque vino de un lugar remoto, las distancias no trataron bien a Jorge. Hay bastantes skips en Telefonía y en Silencio hay un loop. Algunos otros skips en distintas canciones. Sólo le di dos estrellas porque esperé a comprarlo por bastante tiempo y es uno de mis discos favoritos. Les recomiendo que busquen el disco por otro lado, discogs, posiblemente.

Jorge Drexler ist der Songwriter mit Charme und Überraschungen. Egal ob er nun über die Erfindung des Telefons, die Stille oder über die Aufgabe von Chromosomen in der Disco singt.Die Melodien klingen manchmal süss, sind aber nie kitschig, mehr schmeichelnd. Hier ist ein Meister des unaufgeregten Songschreibens am Werk. Ein Gitarrist, der immer sorgfältiger mit den Klängen seiner Instrumente umgeht.

El disco preserva todo el estilo característico de Drexler. Las letras son buenas y la música y las voces más refinadas. Un placer para escucharlp atento.
