We currently use a reverse osmosis system to filter our water from impurities and toxins, but it also strips our water from the beneficial minerals. I typically make up water bottles ahead of time and store them in the fridge, so it was easy just to add a small amount of the trace minerals. We can't even taste it in our water, so that is also a benefit. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to supplement their minerals.
