These filters fit the Dyson V8 vacuum with no issues. The New filters did help the performance of the vacuum that was lost over time when using the old filters. These filters are inexpensive enough that cleaning is not necessary. Just replace the filter.

Dyson wants $12 plus $8 shipping for a new pre-filter alone. Did some research before settling on these. 4 seems like a lot, but its an excellent price and they have held up to use. The fit and and finish is indistinguishable and the suction and power is not affected. Actually the pre-filter seal is a bit more snug, but that's comparing it to the sealing ring on an old OEM filter. I use the multiple filters in a couple different ways. I have a designated "pet" filter for car, couch, anything fur-ified. Its also nice to be able to vacuum while the another filter is drying after being rinsed.
