I don’t know but they were recommended to me by a cardiac surgeon who takes them himself and gives them to his family. He is very particular about nutrition and food safety.

Carlsons fish oil has one of the best concentrations of EPA/DHA for the price, and those are the two key components one wants in fish oil. Other cheaper fish oils won't "hurt" you, but you would have to take massive amounts of many of them to really get the desired benefits. We have been taking these for years; no fishy breath or burps.
