Pilates made easy
Very informative book, with all different levels for anyone trying out Pilates for the first time and getting back into it. I like how the book also gives details on other aspects of working out and being healthy. The value is there and a great addition to anyone workout routine and library.

This book explains everything
As a long time Pilates instructor, one of the biggest challenges is getting clients to practice at home on their own, and to understand the method. This book has clear, concise instructions and beautiful pictures. Brooke truly has a gift for her true voice coming through in her language. I have purchased her first book The Pilates Body for many clients and family members because it was so good for beginners....and back when it was first published Pilates was not very accessible so it helped many people. This book takes it to the next level, with information about all the apparatus used in Pilates that even I as an instructor can still benefit from. I will recommend it to my clients as well as use it to myself to get ideas and inspiration for teaching. I highly recommend this book for students and teachers, or even if you are just curious about Pilates and the benefits. Buy it now!

Pilates DVD.
Book is comprehensive and puts together some good programs to follow. However, as it goes into advanced exercises it misses many that r commonly used in other programs. Limited attention to reformer exercises that have been translate to mat work in other programs. Overall a good workout but limited.

Most comprehensive and useful book I've seen for pilates mat work-outs
Absolutely excellent book with gorgeous photos of positions. Extremely comprehensive for mat based pilates exercises. Some of the newer modifications of pilates reformer and other equipment based movements that show up in recent videos do not necessarily appear here, but she does show many modifications of exercises standing or using hand weights, exercise balls, and the like. The book is definitely true to Joseph Pilate's original mat work, but takes it a bit further for those with special areas of concern. I wanted a traditional book version of this (and DO recommend a traditional book copy to all because to the photos and ability to so quickly flip through in that format). But, I will undoubtedly be purchasing the e-book version as well, for travel... Fort those who have Siler's original book, "The Pilates Body", I would still highly recommend this book, which is far more expansive and again, the photos!

GREAT
I am a big fan of Miss Silers. I practice Pilates since 20 years and used her first book until it fell apart. I own quite a few of Pilates books but I always return to the ones of Miss Silers. This book is increedibly well done. The instructions are short and they make sense! The reader will find a multitude of exercises for every purpose, every level, every age. Good photographs too. Thank you!

Brooke Siler siempre hace libros interesantes. Este contiene muchísima información útil tanto para principiantes como para alumnos más avanzados. ¡Ojo! La edición en castellano no está completa. Desconozco el porqué, pero la primera parte en la que se habla de los aparatos de Gratz se ha esfumado de esa edición.

Practical and Helpful!
Really nicely done book, and I've got a few Pilates books that I honestly like but this book is great. Chapters laid out well, instructions and photographs well done. Helpful if you're watching YouTube or cannot attend classes. Well worth the money.
