Very versatile piece of equipment
I use this to pull non running cars onto trailers up 15 to 20 degree ramps with a double line setup. It's a very capable piece of equipment as long as you're smart with it and don't overload it. Whether using it as a winch or a hoist it will do the job as long as you hook it up securely. It's a lot more flexible than a traditional winch since it can be used in a variety of different environments and super portable since it runs off a drill. Forewarning though, have a good drill like a 18v or 20v Lithium ion dewalt or equivalent. Don't expect it to work right with a $10 drill. This equipment stays in my truck tool box all the time, it's very handy and has bailed me out of being stuck in the mud too. Be sure to buy longer cable, what it comes with kind of limits what you can do with it at the start.

It's slow
It's handy. The machine has a pretty slow single line speed. To have max capacity you have to use a two part line which would cut the speed in half. For occasional lightweight use it's fine. The hooks are also pretty cheaply designed.

but it is a good working speed
Worked just as advertised. Lifted 400 -500 pound windows (single line) no problem. I was afraid it would be to slow, but it is a good working speed. Also, holds load when no power is applied, and lowers smoothy by reversing drill.
