But I digress, when I hit the 600 mile break in interval, which I had to take the bike back so they could lubricated, change the oil and filter and more, when I received the motorcycle back, I noticed that they did not change the rear gear oil. And the owner's manual specifically says that it needs to be replaced at the 600 mile break in. They never did this at the particular dealer. And so I had to call them, and they had to call suzuki, and I had to show him the picture from the owner's manual, and they finally said yes, you are right. And so they actually have to call many people whom they sold we are shaft drive Suzuki motorcycles to tell them to come in so they could change the rear gear oil. I guess they would never doing it at the 600 mile break in.. remember, you are your best advocate. Whether it be a patient advocate, or a consumer advocate. Don't rely on what they tell you, read the owner's manual.
