It is exactly as pictured. It is a perfectly flat piece, so it doesn’t conform to the raised portion of the door where you grab to open the door or the rounded edge. I cleaned surface of the door with some prep-sol(you can use some rubbing alcohol) , then checked fit before removing backing. Probably because of the rounded edge of the door it is cut to fit slightly less in diameter. So per center the fit before removing backing then when installing make sure to center.
