Original Frisket Matt Masking Film, 15-Inch by 4-Yard

Great frisket for my airbrush projects. I do cartoon characters and lettering and it keeps a good bond to the surface so the artwork keeps a clean edge.

This just works. I do a lot of painting on walls, wood, props for escape rooms and myself. I've tried multiple products to try to mask ereas so I can air brush and sponge paint. Sometimes a product would take the paint off the wall. Some products let the paint bleed under the edge so I didn't have a clean lime. This is the only one that I can safely use over a freshly painted area and still get crisp edges. I cit it easily with my machine. It is thin but you can still straighten it out if you get the sticky side stuck together.

It worked for blocking off areas that I didn't want painted. It allowed for some good details.

This is what frisket paper should always have been. doesn't tear up the paper when pulling off and can be seen through. the grid pattern printed on the paper backing is very useful when cutting to size. most importantly the acrylic paint I use does not leak under the frisket. Just remember to rub it down well, don't worry it hasn't damaged any of the paper I use; watercolor, Bristol, canvas, multimedia and copy papers.

Has enough tack to work with on illustration board and bristol board. Cuts really well also.

Does not stick to artist canvas. Very low tack. Returned it.

Will leave a residue
