The item arrived with the tip damaged a little bit, due to the packaging not been engineered correctly so I'm removing one star. I have to say that Amazon offered to return it but it was a minor issue so I didn't want to go through the process of sending it back and buy a new one with maybe some worst problems.Otherwise it's a beautiful knife, with a good balance. Easy to cut any bread or brioche. I recommend it.

Lovely knife

I wanted to replace a cheap bread knife that didn't cut particularly well, so I decided I'd splash a bit of cash and invest in a good one.Sadly this isn't the bread knife I was looking for.Although it's a beautiful-looking knife, it cuts like a blunt wood saw, hacking the bread in uncertain lines and leaving crumbs everywhere. If the makers had put as much effort into getting the cutting edge right as they did in the aesthetics, this would be the perfect knife, as it is it's just a pretty, but flawed, piece of kitchen cutlery.Look elsewhere for a good bread knife, this isn't it.

Great knife, cannot fault it, looks great

This knife is very good especially for the price. It cames in a nice gift box which will also serve as a good way to store it. Looks very attractive.
