Tyrannosaurus rex: A Pop-Up Guide to Anatomy

I bought a copy of this book for each of my grandsons, aged 10 and 8, both of whom are dinosaur mad. The younger one wanted to see what was under the skin of a dinosaur so this book fitted the bill nicely. I would say the factual content is a little beyond the younger grandson but will be useful when he is older, should he still maintain his interest in dinosaurs. My only ‘worry’ is that the pop ups require gentle manipulation. Definitely a book to keep away from younger siblings! Also it would be nice to have a book featuring a variety of dinosaurs.

This was in a top 10 childrens' Christmas book list in the i newspaper. It's as good as they said it was. My 11yr old dino mad grandson just loves it. The detail is phenomenal. I have now got 3 books by the same author - each one as excellent as the last.

This is a really great book for anyone interested in how dinosaurs worked. The pull out bits are a little bit delicate, but really fun.

I bought this as a present for my 5 year old and he loves it. He's generally a fan of pop up books but this one really made him happy. He's obsessed with dinosaurs and to be able to essentially peel back layers and see what's underneath is really neat.
