Price is cheap but sound signal distorted easily on my acoustic guitar. It fit well but sounded cheap. It worked for my experiment and now Ive thrown it away and am saving up for a high quality one.

It works but the low quality make a lot of noise through the amp.

Disappointed. Installation was difficult, requiring one of the clamps be removed to fit in side sound hole and then reassembled in side the box. Also, it didn’t work and had to return.

Plastic is questionable but fine if not over tightened. Pick up works well.

These are $12.00 and they sound good. If it was more expensive I'd give it 2 stars but it's $12.00!.I returned the first one because the G string position was very quiet. But before I even physically returned that one I already received the replacement and it was way better. I suppose you could keep returning them (at no cost) until you got one that was perfect. If your budget is tight or you are just a not too fussy strummer these will work.

I had already installed a newer pre amp in my old Alvarez Yari, it actually had plug a plug in jack for the the the thin line pic up i put in it, had power but always too trebely, not enough low end, i the plug from the thin line was 1/16 " two sizes down from 1/4", the new sound hole pic up comes attached to a female 1/4 you have to hang out of the guitar (tacky) I cut that off shorten the wire, and spliced in,the old 1/16th phono plug to the sound hole pick up and just plugged it back in into my preamp and sounds got big and beautiful!

I used this product on an acoustic guitar and wanted to see how it performed. The over-all performance was very good and the sound is good.
