Have a TT? You need this, even if you have a groomer
This is a beautiful book, with numerous pictures of TTs in all lengths of coat and at all ages, great advice about bathing and skin health as well as advice about when coat growth is most intense. This book will give you the knowledge, confidence and motivation to start grooming your TT. You will want some in-person or online guidance from someone with grooming experience but this book will give you the knowledge to apply what skills you have.If you are having your dog groomed by a professional, show them the pictures and specifications in the book to make sure you don't send in a luscious TT and get back an inappropriate schnauzer or a poodle. The surprise gift here are the pictures of the same TTs at different ages. It will convince you to pick a TT puppy by character rather than by appearance. Highly recommended for TT owners and admirers.

This is the best book about grooming a TT!
This is one of those books that will change your life, for the better, you will have more time for fun with your TT. We have our third and fourth TT right now, I wish this book had been available when we had our first two. It is well written, honest with extremely good advice on how to keep you TT in long coat. Julie Hindle obviously has dedicated her life to the breed, and this book is a must for any TT owner, long or short coat, this is a wonderful book, in fact any book by Julie Hindle is fantastic.

Excellent, must have!!!
I can’t say enough about this fantastic book. I wish I could have had it on hand before we got our TT puppy. Regardless, this book covers anything you need to know about grooming your dog and addresses grooming problems and how to handle them in the best possible way for your puppy/dog. The pictures are clear and step by step directions are included. Thank you so much Julie, you’ve helped us to make our grooming experience so much more enjoyable for us and most importantly our dog!

Fantastic Grooming Book
This book is so well done, beautiful pictures, and in depth information on grooming the TT dog. My girl is only 3 months, but I want to take care of her coat from the beginning. Julie Hindle's books are all amazing...I think I have them all. This is a great book whether you are grooming your own pup, or taking her to the groomer. Tamara

The bible for grooming TTs
No more excuses for not knowing how to groom a Tibetan Terrier...this book has it all and pictures to go with it. It is packed full with information learned from a career of doing so. From show dog to cut down this book has it all. And if you only want pictures to show to a groomer about how you want your dog to look, they are there (along with instructions for groomers (or owners) on how to accomplish the look...short, long, or somewhere in between. For all of the information contained within, this book is a bargain!

It’s a must have book.
Thank you Julie for creating this book. In the US TT’s aren’t common so groomers are not familiar with them. My groomer requested that I bring this book in so she can read through it. This makes my life so much easier since I’m not even experienced with a TTs coat and can easily look through the book and pick what style I prefer to show the groomer. It’s a great contribution to the breed by creating this book which will greatly benefit the life of TT’s and their owners.

Every TT owner needs this book!
Amazingly comprehensive, detailed and helpful. Not just for TIbetan Terriers - Lhasa Apsos, Shi Tzus, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Briards .. any long, double-coated breed owner would benefit from this book, any dog groomer, or indeed anyone thinking of getting a TT or related breed. Many new owners struggle with the grooming needs of these breeds - no longer! Julie teaches you the equipment and the techniques, talks about the pitfalls, how to deal with a matted dog, a dog blowing its undercoat, the uncooperative dog etc etc. This book is unique in its field and priceless for any TT owner.

No real Grooming help or info
The book appears great to start, lots of information on the breed, how to care for them, skin problems, ticks etc. But hang on I was buying a book on Grooming. Eventually you get a few sections on the dogs that Julie has groomed in different stiles. But little to no information of what to use, how to use it, or even where to start. I did not want to know how good Julie is at grooming, I wanted to know the best way to groom my Tibetan Terrier. Complete waste of money.

A must for all who have TT companions
A very comprehensive book, covers all aspects of coat changes and how to deal with it in great detail through the seasons. Plenty of caring advice on how to handle and encourage your dog every step of the way. Best tools to use, avoiding spending a fortune on trial and error. I wish it had been written (and I found it) sooner. Having been told not to wash too often, Julie has turned that on it's head with amazing results. The past 8 months bathing and caring for my dogs has been so much easier and rewarding than the previous 6 years. Thank you Julie.

Very poor value for money
This was a gift from a kind friend who thought it may be helpful for my Minty.Sadly I have now donated it to my local charity shop. Hopefully it will help someone more than it did me.Littered with grammatical errors, I found the 'advice' contradictory and it seems to be the opposite of all advice I've received from award winning groomers.

Wonderful book, must have for TT owners.
Worth every penny, will save you a fortune in the life of your TT, Wonderful book, so much great advice, it covers everything, health tips, food and nutrition, aging, and illness, everything that could affect coat quality. Covers everything, stuff you don't even know you need to know. Haven't finished it yet, but I'll be referring to it often, 12 years of TT's and counting, the illustrations are a great help too, so detailed, showing each step.
