My hand won't get stuck!
The photo is a bit of a disarray bc the plants all sprouted at once and the dinosaurs kind of keeled over 🤣 but what's super great about this is that the mouth of the plastic jar is big enough that I can easily fit my hand in without fear of it getting stuck to help save their tumbled over behinds. Lots of nice easy layering to do and everything was labeled so we (7yr old and I) knew exactly what was what and what went where. Love the lights they last longer before needing to be charged then it says, which is awesome and they have a bunch of different settings! We did end up having to lightly pour a bit of water into the soil to get the plants to sprout bc spritzing it just wasn't cutting it. Overall cute kit and I'd do it again as would my son 😊

Fun and easy project!
I ordered this Dino kit for my 4 year old son. He was really excited to put it together! The directions were easy to follow and I liked having all the “ingredients” included and ready to use. It was a fun activity to make together (no stress, no mess). My son accidentally dropped it but even so the magic seeds grew. My son really likes the lights and nightlight aspect. I think this would make a great gift- it’s a fun project and gift in 1. The only negative is that you have to take off the lid to charge the light and to turn it on/ off- I hope a future version of this will have the plug and switch on top. Overall I’d definitely recommend this Dino kit!

Perfect activity for a rainy day
I got this for a rainy day activity for my three year old. It was a little diffcult for her by herself but she had a lot of fun with some help. We ended up using a small scoop for put in the rock and soil but a little more rocks would have been nice. The plants popped up like the instructions stated. The instructions were clear and simple. The night light portion was fun for a couple times but we don't consistently remember to charge and turn on the light. Overall a fun activity and perfect for learning about plant care.

Cute idea
My boys loved this and putting it together. The final outcome is cute and they love to use it as a night light. Wish the lights lasted a bit longer and wish that the plants would have grown. The layers do mix but that didn’t bother my boys at all. Over all it’s a cute idea even if the seeds don’t grow and my boys weren’t disappointed.

Simple & Fun Project
Simple & easy to follow instructions listed on a card; my 7 & 6 year old boys were able to do most of it themselves. Everything needed was included in the box. Loved having all the parts/pieces included pictured & labeled on the side of the box. Only piece that had a missing picture was the green plastic moss (?). Interested to see how fast the Wheatgrass & Chia grow. If successful, I would think this makes a good gift for boys & girls. Simple project but they found it fun & are doing a good job caring for it everyday.Side note: Would not recommend having kids move the Terrarium from one location to another until things sprout because the dinosaur figures fall easily.

Kids had a blast.
My kiddos had a blast assembling this and waiting for the first seeds to sprout. It took two days longer but that’s ok. They were super excited to put it together and water it and made sure it had all the plant essentials to grow. It was nice to do a project where the kids wanted to come each day and see how it progressed we even made a little journal to watch it over time. Definitely would recommend.

Lights don’t work
I was so excited to do this with my toddler for his 3rd birthday (a present we got for him) before we finished putting it together- like right before finishing, I realized the lights weren’t working. I’d love to receive new lights. I can’t send it all back, he’s helped me put it together & has planted his seeds. It’s a bummer that the “night light” he was so excited about..isn’t a night light now. Other than that it’s super cute. We’ve gotten another one before for our daughter and she loved it as well. A good learning tool!

Easy to assemble and would make a great gift... if the grass grew
I'd give it 5-stars instead of 4, but it's been 18 days and our grass still hasn't grown yet. Maybe we did something wrong? Regardless, my child had a fun time putting the terrarium together and is still able to use it as a night light. I would imagine it would make an excellent gift for a child. I will also say that the company has EXCELLENT customer service and communication if there are any problems.
