The fill can be protected with Tone finish aerosols or other coatings. No heat or special tools required—simply rub in and wipe off. Review: Work well, takes practice - Was using these to fill some deeper gouges in a veneered desktop. Took practice but I ended up with an acceptable result. A few things I learned: - Does not adhere to indentations in finished wood; needs to be a full thickness gouge or scratch. - Can use a hairdryer to soften the stick or a piece of the stick, but you don’t have to. The instructions provided are for a soft wax product which this is not.
