First impressions
This is my first impressions of the eSkde BPL430-S9 Backpack Leaf Blower The Good Fantastic price for what you get pound for pound.. Engine power/wind speed is out of this world and beats anything else that I've owned including the stilh back pack blowers, MacCulloch backpack blower and Kawaski kaaz backpack blower that's twice and 3 x the cost if this !... I would easily go to say that the overall wind speed is easily double to any of the above mentioned and I have to say that I'm completely blown away by how good it is. First start was a doddle and it fired up on the second pull (unlike the rest of the blowers that I've owned and this machine has got what I call a soft pull, so no need to pull it as hard as you can, just a slow pull is all that is needed!) The machine is extremely quiet compared to all of my others and its also got what I also call a gentle speed increase when you apply full power instantly (very much like my Macculloch backpack blower has) Now for the Not So Good Bits (but at this price who cares) The overall build quality is nowhere near as good as my other more expensive blowers, it's a bit like comparing the interior of a top of the range Mercedes to the interior of a soda, plastics are a little cheap looking, switches etc a bit flimsy and the padded back support is very cheaply made out of quite poor material (that wont last that long but could easily be replaced for a few quid) . The hardest bit to put together was the tubing itself very very tight fittings and a bit of a bitch to slide together if you want the full truth (all my other blowers where the exactly the same with this) A little bit heavier than a few of my blowers and I would say it's appropriate the same weight as my Macculloch 25 to 1 fuel ratio is a bit of a pain as this means that I now have to carry around another premixed fuel can, unlike my others that all was 40 to 1 fuel/oil ratio which is the same as all my other swimmers and hedge cutters If you can put all the ‘Not so good bits’ to one side like I have, you still have an unbeatable machine at a very very unbeatable price.... Obviously this is the first day that I've owned it and used the machine but I'm very convenient that it'll go on for quite a few years going by the smoothness of it's engine but I will update if anything goes amiss Still worth the 5/5 star rating every day despite the small short falls that it holds and I'm honestly thinking of purchasing a second and third one for my parents and another spare one for myself (yes that's how impressed I am with it so far, especially for it's overall wind speed power

Great machine for the money.
What a time saver. No more leaf raking , driveway brushing, hedge cuttings etc. For a budget machine this seems to work very well. Powerful, easy to start and comfortable to use. Ok, it's not the sturdiest of machines, but it's not for commercial use so ideal for my new large garden. Not too noisy either. Delivery and packaging were great.

Powerful, easy start, easy to set up
Awesome bit of kit. Easy to assemble, powerful and seems to get more powerful as it runs in. I started using it with slightly heavy oil mix as I believe that is a good thing to do. Use it every few days at the moment through my business. I also use to dry paths and patio's etc after I clean them! Starts very easily and performs well. Isn't very heavy and does exactly what I want it to do. Impressed so far. Now owned for 2 full years and used heavily. All is absolutely just fine. Only let me down once with a blocked carb that cleared with a spray of carb cleaner. Not at all bad!!!!!!

EXCELLENT BLOWER
As a gardener i have used plenty of blowers over the years. I have Stihl , Husquavana, Makita x 2 and now this one. The first thing you will notice is that it has everything you need to get you started except the oil and fuel . Now the ratio of oil is 200 millilitres to the 5 litre can , not 100 mltrs as per the stihl products. This means you have to carry another can of mixed fuel but no problems when this is your job. Now the clips are a bitch to fit as the pipes are tight and it would be better if you purchase 2 x Jubilee clips this would make it easier. Now the priming button is underneath a housing and you get use to this by locating the two fuel pipes and its there. Prime 5 or 7 times , put on the choke slide to full and make certain the on button on the pipe controller is set to on. Pull the started rope steady and easy not full wack as it starts better than any machine i have ever used. The machine warms up quickly and is easy to use please be aware to tighten the fuel cap as spilt fuel cost money and makes clothes smell bad. I would also recommend a fuel filling spout as the fuel tank is a small hole. I have used this on various bigger jobs as the power to weight ratio is brilliant. AS any professional gardener will tell you they are not good in tight spaces so a hand blower is with me as well. So far so good and please remember those that do not use all the time to only place what petrol you going to use in the machine as petrol goes off. ( little note on hand blowers Husquavana is better than Stihl because stihl has 2 x springs in the rope pull section which is overkill) Sorry to digress but so far a 5 star product well done to the guys who make it.

Customer Service Absolutely Awful
Purchased less than 2 years ago and still in new condition. Used less than half a dozen times. I have just put the second tank of fuel in and the machine worked but then stopped. It will not restart. I decided to empty the fuel tank and to check the fuel filter. The fuel tube just fell out of the fuel tank in two pieces. There was a clear split about one inch form the end of the tube nearest to the fuel intake. I can accept that a tube can split or that it can come adrift but it is extremely unlikely that both would happen. I suspect that the tube was split in the first place and that it was never attached and the blower’s performance was always a bit dodgy. Customer service provided no assistance and said that even if they provided a replacement part, it wouldn’t be available until next year at best. How can this be an acceptable response even if the machine is out of warranty. At the cost of around £130, this is over £20 per use which is completely unacceptable. If the supplier cannot provide replacement parts quickly then they shouldn’t sell the product.

As good as the big brand names!!
I work on a private estate (25 acres) where my boss had a blower more suited to a small garden. Having used that for one day (6 hrs) I bought this item hoping that it would make my ‘life’ (work) easier. Boy was I surprised (pleasantly) I have used much more expensive £500-700 models and this would give them a run for their money ( leaf blowing competition 🤣 it is so powerful that even very wet leaves, snow are no problem

Started well
Started no problem and was comfortable to wear. I've docked it 1 star as the way it had been packed has distorted the padding and it hasn't restored itself. Also one of the extension tubes will not fit as the extruded plastic bayonet fitting isnt quite the right dimensions. Only used it once so far, so unable to comment on longevity For the money it seems really good.
