Elf always has affordable products and this is one of my very favorite! Last all day, quality is good, build able coverage, full coverage without the heavy feeling.

Best foundation that I have found... it's hard to find in store so Amazon did not disappoint. It matches up with my skin great and is very lightweight.

Soo...I'm cheap. Not sorry 🙃! I never fall for those social media products. Ever. Until Il Makiage foundation. Only because my beauty struggle in life has been finding the right shade for me. And this time my struggle overpowered my cheapness, lol. So I order the product and lo and behold. It's true. It matched me flawlessly. The only thing is that the coverage is for younger people. It's thick and drying and I'm old, thats not gonna work for me. So I returned it, but now that I had that knowledge in my arsenal of knowing what shade fit me, I went online and found a website called Findation . com that matches you with your same shade in almost any other brand, to other other brands. It pulled this one up and knowing ELF is affordable, I figured I'd start with this one. I've never used ELF foundations and sure enough my shade was not sold in most stores :/ . So I ordered here and tried it. It ALSO matched perfectly!! It has light, silky, buildable coverage great for my skin. The whole time I had been using more orange based foundations, not knowing I actually had a cool pink undertone. The only drawback is, although I'm older, I'm not 80, and the smell reminds me of the cheap perfume Grandma wore in the 80s only because it was cheap. I'll try it for a while and see if I can stand the smell, but it does stay on the product for about an hour after applying, so if it bothers me enough ill finish this bottle but go back onto the website and find the next affordably priced foundation. So for anyone else that has had this struggle, take one of those new online quizzes to find your right shade like on Il Makiage, take your match and go to Findation . com, and choose a brand that you are comfortable spending your money on. If you already have your matching shade but might be struggling with the price of your brand, try going to that website to find a lower priced product. As for ELF, its non-drying, light, buildable coverage is absolutely wonderful, I don't regret purchasing it. I'm so happy I have my matching shade in an affordable brand! But if you are sensitive to perfumes, please skip it, it's very strong. To ELF: your product is fantastic, but please take out the perfume or use something more subtle so more people might enjoy your brand.

My foundation, that I used for years, was discontinued. I have been doing without for a long time, mostly because it is a pain to look for new makeup. I like what I read about the e.l.f. products and thought I'd give it a try. What I LOVED most is that the small tubes and jars are the perfect "try me" size and very affordable. Great marketing strategy. I was able to buy 6 different shades so I could try them at home. I was actually surprised at how much foundation is in each tube and jar. I guess that I chose wisely because most of the shades I picked would have worked, but the best was the "Pearl" shade. I have light green undertones to my skin. This shade helped even out my skin and give it a consistent tone. I used my regular face cream a few minutes before applying the makeup and it went on so smoothly, without feeling cakey or dry. It lasted all day, in hot weather, and I still had a "glow" to my skin. It worked really well with my powdered blush. I have slightly oily skin, but do not like the feel of matte foundation. This foundation was a great compromise for my skin type. This will be the foundation I use forever...or until they discontinue it.

Things to keep in mind when reading my review: I’ve recently gotten back into makeup so I’m currently still experimenting and learning. My face is oily with some texture. What I like about it: Price point is hard to beat. I got my shade for $3. It’s vegan and cruelty free, which is important to me. I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise. The color I got is an amazing match for my skin. I’m very pale and historically it’s been hard to find a foundation that matches my skin tone. This one looks perfect to me. Another thing I like is that it really evens out my skin tone and it’s buildable coverage wise. Feels okay on the face. I haven’t noticed any irritation yet and my sensitive skin appreciates that. After it fully dries it doesn’t seem to transfer very much. What I don’t like: The smell. I’m sensitive to smells. I prefer to wear unscented makeup for that reason. If I had realized this had a fragrance, I would not have bought it. Another reviewer said this smells like baby powder and grandma. They were right. It really gives “old lady.” Which is totally fine, but it’s not my thing. Maybe if the fragrance was barely there I wouldn’t mind it, but I still wonder why they even put fragrances in makeup anyways. It really seems to highlight my texture which is not a look I was going for. Maybe if I primed my face with something before this foundation it wouldn’t be an issue, however, I am more of a foundation minimalist (I typically don’t wear any foundation at all) so I was hoping to be one and done. I’ve only been wearing it for around 45 minutes and my oily-ness is already starting to come through. I want to leave it on longer to see how it holds up in a few hours, but the scent is making my eyes and nose water, so I’m afraid I have to wash it off before I can find out the longevity. Overall: It’s probably a great starter foundation, but please make it unscented.

I’m really impressed with this e.l.f. foundation. It provides great coverage while still feeling lightweight on the skin. The finish looks smooth and natural, not cakey at all. It blends easily and lasts throughout the day without feeling heavy. The price is very affordable for the quality you get. I would definitely recommend it and purchase it again!

My 73 year old skin has brown spots and wrinkles. I usually wear tinted moisturizer and while it is light weight it doesn't cover spots well or wrinkles. I had heard good things about E L F and for the price I thought why not. When I first started to put this on I thought it felt like smearing heavy grease on my face but by the time I finished, it felt like I had nothing on my face. It did a great job on covering my brown spots. Some were just very faintly visible. It also did a good job on not sinking into my wrinkles. Sure,some of my deeper ones are still visible but minimized. The pictures I took were after 8 hours of wear in and out of the heat so I look a bit shiney but it does go on matte. I hadn't used any setting spray. The side picture is my worst side for wrinkles and spots and looks better than any foundation I have used at any price. It also covers my nose pores and redness by the side of my nose. This is also good for the skin. I would have normally ignored this makeup as being for a teenager or young adult because of the price but it is great for older skin too. The reason for 3 stars for sheerness is because it does such a great job of coverage which is what I wanted and needed along with feeling like I was not wearing make up at all. I now have several E L F makeup and skin care products and am happy with all. Great line of products and prices for every skin type and age. Once you get past that feeling of being a heavy makeup when you start to put it on, it is very comfortable to wear.

If you’re over 40 I want to minimize pores this foundation is absolutely flawless. It doesn’t dry up it diminishes fine lines and has medium coverage. I will buy it again and again. I highly recommend this product.

I love this product! It is amazing for the price. It stays on the whole day, looks quite natural, but still covers every imperfection on your face. Will be ordering again.

El producto es tal cual como lo han descrito en las reseñas de youtube. Es liquido pero al esparcerlo por el rostro da un efecto terso, suave, y muy ligero lo cual me encantò ya que por lo general las bases suelen sentirse pesadas al ser puestas. Al ser aplicado se seca inmediatamente y tiene excelente cobertura en el rostro. Verdaderamente lo recomiendo a cualquiera ya que por el precio la calidad es inmejorable.
