Excellent product - but made in China, not USA
This turntable is well-made and nicely balanced. I replaced an ancient plastic turntable and the action is much more smooth! I look forward to using this for years and years. BUT the Amazon listing indicated the product is made in the USA, and the packaging clearly shows "Made in China." Too bad.

Sturdy and Glides Smoothly
You can buy this know it's quality and works well. I decided to take a while before writing my review, wanting to see this in action for a few months to see how it held up. This stainless steel version replaced my earlier plastic version (some 20 years old) and since it had fewer ball bearings, I didn't know how it would work. I was careful to evenly balance the turntable when I set it up. And it's wonderful! I turn this several times a day, as our S & P grinders live on it, as well as our oil and vinegars. And still, after these few months, it's as smooth as the day I bought it. Good quality--nice looks. It's a good product.

Quality Stainless Steel far superior to plastic!
Perfect in the pantry or for the hard-to-reach cabinet above your stove. I have two of these in my pantry for large heavy cans - stacked 2-high. And I have one in the cabinet above my stove that holds bottles of oil and large plastic bottles of spices I use frequently (chives, gravy mix, etc) as well as the everyday cooking spices I want handy. Stainless Steel is IDEAL over plastic. Plastic collects airborne grease that is difficult to remove, cracks and warps, and will not rotate easily after time. My single-tier Stainless Steel lazy susan turntables have been used in this house for six years and are as good as new. Easy to clean and never fails to rotate. NOTE: I have a small screw (from the microwave below) protruding in the floor of one of my above-stove cabinets. So it necessitated a riser to make the turntable sit flush. I used a thin trivet (much like a thin small cutting board) the size of the rail under the turntable and now it glides without scraping the screw.

Not sturdy for the price
Purchased this to go along with a condiment holder I built. The platform was not sturdy at all and the quality definitely was cheaply made.

Good size and works well!
I got this to put one of my fused glass circles into and it worked well. It moves easily and supports all the stuff we put on it - mostly salt, pepper, etc.

Great upgrade for my spices
These turntables are sooo much better than the plastic turntables that I’d had for 10-15 years!! My plastic ones were sagging and falling apart. Now all my spices are secure and I’ll never have to replace these shiny stainless steel turntables 👍🏻

Nice accessory for my kitchen
I have a little bar that sits up above my stove and bought this to use there. We used to keep our salt and pepper, olive oil and a few other things out on the countertop. I have been in this "clutter is evil" mode and so I thought about getting one of these to help consolidate that, as these are items that we use on a daily basis. This was worth the money I paid for it. I fits nicely in the space I had. I plan to buy a couple more for my spice cupboard to make my life easier when looking for spices.

Initially was good quality, but later broke
This turntable was to replaced a cheap one made out of plastic bought at a local Walmart. Initial quality looked good. It appeared sturdy and was able to hold my large coffee jars, sweeteners, and spices on the countertop. The thickeness of the stainless steel used held about 5 lbs on the upper shelf without flexing. Casters turned the turntable easily.Problem with this turntable is that the connection of the supporting rods at the top joint are held by screws which are stamped to the underside of the upper platform. This makes the top shelf look flush on the topside but lacked integrity with the structure. The bottom rods were held in by screws that went through a hole in the bottom shelf.Over the past 5 months of use, the bottom screws begain to loosen. I should have retighten them but didn't. Eventually the turntable toppled over and the supporting rods broke off of the upper shelf. I repaired the turntable by using epoxy putty at the underside joints of the upper shelf and adding locking washers. It is now more sturdy than before.I recommend that if you are going to buy this unit, that you add locking washers at the joint and periodically retighten the screws.
