I bought this for use in pregnancy to try and prevent stretch marks and improve skin elasticity. I used this oil after every daily shower on my belly, butt, and thighs through my whole pregnancy. I also bought the lotion but I gravitated more towards the oil because it was just so much easier to apply. A little goes a long way, it smells nice, makes skin feel so soft, is easy to apply quickly, doesn't make you feel sticky after, and the price is pretty good.The results? I didn't have stretch marks until the last week of my pregnancy (38 weeks) with consistent use. During postpartum period, I didn't really see any exciting results from this on my stretch marks. I'm now 9 months postpartum and I still have some obvious red marks.In summation, if you're looking for a miracle, you're not going to find it. The research shows that there just isn't an effective method of prevention or treatment of stretch marks (especially in pregnancy). But if you want to try to do anything you can anyway, this stuff is actually pretty great and I would recommend it! Just try not to be discouraged if you get some new little marks regardless. I absolutely loved this product. I used it towards the end of my pregnancy and I had no stretch marks. I combined it with the lotion as well and used twice a day. After a month I still had some in the bottle. Definitely worth the money and it goes a long way, more than you would expect.

This product works very well I’ve used it during both of my pregnancies! It’s very lightweight and glides smoothly.

I used a combination of Palmer's Stretch Mark products throughout the entire pregnancy. I found that using this oil, the lotion, and the body butter, altogether daily worked the best for my skin. By the time I delivered, I only had 2 tiny stretch marks. My only complaint about the oil is that it is really greasy, so I had to be careful what I wore and had to make sure to give my abdomen time to air out. But other than that small hassle, it seemed to do well. I recommend this product when used along with the other Palmer's pregnancy care products.
