I bought this as an alternative to Murad's regular acne cleansing wash. While it does not really compare to that one, for a couple of bucks, I think this does way better than usual American drugstore face washes. My skin is oily/combo and it makes my face feel super clean without drying it out. However, if I I have a bad breakout it doesn't immediately stop it. It will prevent breakouts if you use this regularly/consistently, but not too often. Probably one wash in the morning and one right before you go to bed should do it. I did heed everyone's inspections and I put the soap in my hands then lathered it up before running into my face (I do that with my other face washes anyway).What I like most about it is it doesn't have those annoying plastic microbeads that American drugstore soaps usually have in them. The scent isn't that strong either. Super travel friendly.It was a little annoying that it took TWO months to get to me, but then again the estimated delivery date was December 15 and I got it December 11 (I bought it mid-October), so that was to be expected.

I have stubborn, combination, acne-prone skin, and I've had problems with acne for...far too long! I loved this face wash for about 6 months. At first, this face wash definitely helped clear some of my acne. I actually noticed results within 1-2 weeks of daily use. It didn't clear everything since a lot my acne is hormonal and stress-driven. The face wash was relatively drying, however, and sometimes my face would sting from it; I know the description says it moisturizes, but it's drying properties definitely outweigh any moisturizing properties, if it has any at all. After almost 6 months of use, my skin just couldn't take it anymore and began exhibiting irritation (too much stinging, redness) every time I used it. By then, I had probably used up a good 50%+ of the tube. Alas, I had to stop and find a new face wash. Maybe this face wash is more suitable for occasional use - maybe for the middle of summer/hot weather when your face gets extra oily (that's how I've been using it).Also, I never got the foam to whip up as insanely awesome as the commercial shows it to (definitely YouTube the commercial), which was slightly disappointing. The smell is lightly soapy, kinda meh.By the way, the ingredients are:Water, Stearic Acid, Peg-8, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Lauric Acid, Dipropylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Polyquaternium-7, Beeswax, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroly Glutamate, Disodium Edta, Tocopherol, Fragrance

It might work great but I can’t continue to use bc of the smell. I love Shiseido products and yes plenty don’t smell great but this is next level. When washing my face some got on my lips by accident and the taste was horrible. It tasted like vomit and lingered for hours. Ewww! I couldn’t use again after that. Such a shame

perfect whip is a pleasant, soft, and mild cleansing foam. i purchased the perfect whip along with perfect senganseka cleansing oil, hada labo hyluronic gokujyn lotion, innisfree no sebum pact, laneige water sleeping, and mizon snail recovery gel lotion. i am polish/russian descent, 21, combination/dry with mild ac trouble and this combination has improved my skin visibly in one day. i needed to step my skincare up, and i am overjoyed by all of the products i purchased because i have seen a difference in one day. i believe it has a lot to do with the lotions, as i am known to favor hyluronic acid and i do not doubt for a minute that the 74% snail mucin had basically healed and "uninfected" a particularly unfortunate breakout on my right jaw (half a dozen hormonal nasties). i am in love with everything on the list, and perfect whip is especially enjoyable. i waas able to double wash with this and did not get tight and dried out, but it felt clean. though this is nothing particularly amazing, the oil and whip get the job done well. will repurchase, good value.

Background:I'm a serial face wash shopper/buyer (mostly to Korean/Japanese brands) and I'm rarely faithful to only one. If I really love it, I would repurchase; but if not, I will never repurchase again because there's just so many good facial cleansers on the market. Unfortunately, this one did not make the cut.The good:1. Cleanses wellAs it is expected to do, so this is nothing spectacular to me. It does the job and makes your skin squeaky clean.2. Extremely affordableEven jacked up at 100% from its actual Japan retail price (my friend purchased this for $4 while we were in Japan), it's still very affordable at $8 a piece.3. Hardly scentedI'm not particularly sensitive to scents, but I hate it when a facial product is scented too much. This is definitely not it and I appreciate that.The bad:1. Irritates eyesThis was the deal breaker for me. I usually use this after a cleansing oil or remover of some sort, so I sometimes lather the cleanser over my eyes to cleanse out any oil residues. However, this hurts like a *censored* and I do not enjoy using this for that reason.2. Dries out skin after using

This bottle will last forever. I use a pea size amount and mix it vigorously in my hands to create the foam. Since I don't own a bath poof, or a net for the Perfect Whip, this is what I resort to. Needless to say rubbing Perfect Whip in my hands does create a nice, thick lather of foam, so it is not imperative to use a net. However, if you are looking to maximize the foaming effect, I would suggest using the net. I believe Japanese people use the net to create a lot of foam because they want to avoid rubbing their faces with their hands. It is believed that rubbing the face too much will disturb the natural structure of the skin, hence, the amount of foam created to avoid touching and irritating one's face. In addition, the Perfect Whip has a pleasant, light smell when it foams up. It cleans my face nicely. When I use witch hazel afterwards, it barely, if at all, takes off any dirt from my face. Obviously, the longer you wash your face, the cleaner your face will be. Wow, I just wrote an essay on face wash....lol.

Das Waschgel lässt sich gut aufschäumen und man hat nach der Reinigung das Gefühl , dass das Gesicht quietschsauber ist , auch ist es mild und hinterließ keine Irritationen auf meiner empfindlichen Haut. Das Produkt ist sehr ergiebig , da ein münzgroßer Klecks völlig ausreicht um das ganze Gesicht zu reinigen .

Das Waschgel schäumt sehr gut und ist sehr ergiebig, man braucht nur eine kleine Menge.Die Haut wird sehr gründlich gereinigt, jedoch trocknet das Waschgel die Haut auch stark aus, für die tägliche Reinigung ist es meiner Meinung nach nur bedingt geeignet.

Really liked this face wash, but developed a quick dependence on this. It takes about 30 days to ship and if you run out, you feel like you can’t even use your other trusted brands.

Excellent seller! I bought two of these, my order didn't arrive on time, they sent me another by air mail with tracking! They were also apologizing very sincerely.
