Alpha (Forever Book 1)
Scarlett is a sixteen year old who lost her parents to a vicious attack by an animal when she was younger. She has been raised by a friend of her father. She and the guardian have moved to a new location and she has met two guys at school. One she tolerates, the other one--when she is around him her emotions are acting up. She also thinks he's a jerk. The one that she can stand is Blake. The other one is Cade. One day Blake asks her what pack she's with. She tells him she has no clue what he's talking about. Blake knows she's a werewolf, but Scarlett doesn't know that. Cade tells her if she wants answers to meet at his home. She goes there and Blake and Cade tells her that she is a werewolf and that she needs to join one of their packs to stay safe. She doesn't believe them and gets into her car to leave. When she is almost out of the compound she hits a person in the road and crashes. She is rescued by Blake and Cade. She is taken to Cade's home to recuperate. She is told that she isn't safe on her own. She accepts to stay there until the rogue is caught. She finds out that Cade is her mate. She keeps this from him for awhile. When he finds out that his best friend knew she was his mate and didn't tell him, he punches him in the face. Scarlett joins Cade's pack but won't mate with him yet. She has to figure out what it all means being a werewolf first. Then the rogue ambushes Cade and some of his packmates and she decides to be mated to Cade. They have to figure out why the rogue is so determined to have Scarlett. Another Alpha comes to the territory of Cade and Cade tells him he's trespassing and this could be war if he doesn't leave. The Alpha tells him he's looking for his sister. Cade tells him he should have told him to begin with. They go to the house and Scarlett comes into the study where they are talking. The Alpha turns out to be her brother. He tells her that the rogue is the one that killed her parents and why they had to leave him behind. She can't believe that she has a brother. Her brother also tells her that if he finds out about her, he will want her like he did her mother. She is kidnapped by the rogue and he tells her he's going to kill the ones that are against him and she will be his mate and bare his children. She rebukes him and he punishes her by hitting, punching and kicking her. He asks her if she has learned her lesson and do as he says. She asks him if that was all he had and makes him madder. What will happen to Scarlett? Will she survive or will she die? Need to buy book to find out. Great story.

her father's best friend. Once she turns sixteen
Regan Ure's "Alpha" is about Scarlett Hayes, an independent teenage girl who drowns in determination and strength. Scarlett lost her parents fairly young, but was raised by Gary, her father's best friend.Once she turns sixteen, she starts to feel some changes in her body and senses, but generally doesn't regard them. Craving a bit of nature, she moves to a new town where she finds herself in an unbelievable predicament. Now, something I really liked throughout this book was Scarlett's strength. She had confidence in herself since the beginning and continued to until the end of the book. Lately I have found way too many novels where the lead lady is somewhat poor and with a low self esteem, and then a rich and handsome guy shows up to make it all better. Not with Scarlett, though. She goes head to head with anyone that crosses her path.In the beginning of the book, I did find some of the things a little see through. I was able to easily guess what was going to happen, but the story had so much potential I kept on reading. Additionally, bits and pieces of the writing I found extremely unnecessary, like when it switched to Cade'so point of view. I understand and appreciate how the author tried to show how the feeling went both ways, but it was like I was reading the same chapter all over again. Even the wording and "thoughts" of them both seemed extremely similar, so I found myself skipping through a lot of those. All in all, I did enjoy this book immensely. The story had amazing characters and a good plot. I didn't put this book down until I finished it. However, I did find it extremely disappointing that Regan Ure did not choose to write the sequel in Scarlett's point of view. The second book to this series is told in somebody else's shoes entirely, which discouraged me to continue reading the series.

rocky start but good book
This book started out rocky. It was so realistic to have the main character so rich and emancipated at 16 when she still has her guardian. She buys a huge house, fancy sports car, and movers unpacking everything in the house for her. At 16? really? It is the same with some of the other characters as well. But, the writer did a great job with her writing and I was soon sucked into the story despite the unrealistic start. I really did enjoy the book, and it was sweet, yet interesting. Five glittery stars!

Not well written but okay story line
I got this book because of the reviews and I am shocked to see so many good reviews when the writing was absolutely horrible! This had to of been a first time book for the author and I almost gave up after the second chapter. I had to keep telling myself to give this author another chance and to keep reading and to be honest it never got better. So why did I keep reading?I have to admit the story line did keep me reading. But I am not sure it was always in a good way. I was frustrated with how the author built up a strong independent 17 year old and as soon as she finds her mate she is a love sick puppy. Even though there are times she fights for things she wants she more times then not gave in and forgiven way to easily which is something I hate reading in books.I honestly do not recommend this book and I will not be buying the next book in the series. I know it says 3 stars but I do give it a 2.5.

Incredible story
I don't know where to start but all I can say is that I was intrigued and in suspense the whole time when I was reading this book. This book kept you guessing from the moment you started reading it to the end because he didn't know how things were going to unfold. The love between Cade and Scarlett was amazing no more because I have no words how a love like that can be possible or exist but overall it was an incredible story. I give this review a five star ⭐️ but I know it deserves more because it blew me away I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that would like tto read this series I know I would.

Ugh. I don't even know where to start. This book was a masterpiece!I fell in love with it the moment I had heard it was about werewolves and saw Regans name on thr front.Everything Regan Ure rights will truly capture your heart, and you'll be begging for more weekly. (Trust me, I do check out her inatagram)The books follows Scarlett as she's navigating the world after being told she's a werewolf and has a soulmate, at first she doesn't seem too impressed but soon realizes she's just going to have to deal with it.I fell in love with Cade almost as quickly as scarlet did, he's the perfect book boyfriend.I can't wait to read more by the author.
