Perfect First Float!
I chose this boat for my 7 month old's first trip to the pool. The red tug boat was as adorable as pictured, although the stickers were a little difficult to apply (the stickers are flat, and the boat is rounded), so we left a few off.The adjustable-height seat was just right at it's highest setting. What I love about this float is that baby can't get his face to the water. My son seemed comfortable leaning back in the seat with his feet kicking around in the water below him. He liked the bells and loved holding onto the steering wheel. We didn't use the canopy since we were already shaded. On a whim, we purchased a cheap $8 float so that baby would have variety. The cheap float was used for a minute and quickly put away since baby immediately started tipping head-first for the water. This float is great for first-time swimmers. I, of course, stayed with baby the whole time, but it gave me peace of mind to know that he was in such a sturdy float, and was enjoying it.I reccommend this baby tug boat to moms who want to relax with baby at the pool. I look forward to using it again next year!

Super sturdy and fun!
Love this for my 1 year old. It so much nicer to have as opposed to the inflatables. Very sturdy and the little ones love it! My 3 years even lives getting in it! Everywhere we take it people ask about it and make comments on how great it is!

Adorable & durable!
This is the absolute best baby float! We had one for my son 17 years ago and handed down to friends that are still using it. So we just purchased another for our grandson. It is not only cute but durable and the kids love it!

great float
I am very pleased with this float. My son loves it and it is cute, sturdy and durable. It was not at all hard to put together and there are only a few pieces needed to put it together. The only thing that disappointed me was that when we got it there was no horn. It appears that Swimways discontinued the boat seen in its ads and pictures with a very similar, red boat. The canopy is different and the new model does not have a horn.

Not as well made as it looks
Very cute and much sturdier than a blow up boat but it is not as well made as it looks. The first one I got had to be returned because the seat is made of cheap plastic and it split after one use! Thankfully, I saw the split before I put my son back in it. We were lucky he didn't fall through when it happened! The boat also somehow takes on water. It tells you to drill a hole in the back of the boat to drain the water which ends up letting even more water in! If I had to do it again, I would drill the drain hole in the nose so it wouldn't cause it to take on even more water. Also, don't expect it to stay looking this cute for long. All of the decals are cheap stickers and faded Ina few weeks even with being put away after each use.

It is a great boat and is the second one we have purchased
This boat is definitely meant for a baby who is able to sit on their own for long periods of time. It is a great boat and is the second one we have purchased, the first was a present for my nephew and I loved it so much I got one for myself! This is sturdy, entertaining and best of all long lasting. My nephew has had his for 2 years with no signs of wear. We have had a five year old in this boat comfortably so it lasts for a long time

Fun for the little one
My grandson loves this toy, even though his mother isn't too excited about the canopy. I had quite a job to install the post for the top as they have three tabs that make it impossible to put the pole in the hole. I had to use my drill with a hasp attachment to make the hole larger for the pole and I had to Mickey Mouse the "bells" on the right-hand side to make them move freely. What were the engineers thinking? A lot of people had complaints about the horn, so the manufacturer fixed that problem: NO HORN!! Nice going. When I received the box, I could only find a spot where the flaps were,(on the bottom) even though there was sealing tape on top of the box?, so I used my box opener knife (bad mistake) to open the box, and lo and behold I cut through the canopy and the instructions. A very bad place to put these. At least my grandson enjoys it when he has a chance to get to use it as we don't have a pool and his mother doesn't take him to the pool very often, with the rain and what-not. The canopy is only good with a very gentle breeze, under 5 MPH, so you might not even want or need it. +JMJ+
