Nice product, would recommend.
Well I am not sure I had strong expectations for a muddler, however this one does not dissapoint. It is an attractive looking peice considering what it is. It has a nice texture to it. The metal is slightly brushed, which doesn't seem to help it handle any better but it does lend to being a little more attractive. So far I have not had any problems muddling in the glasses I own. It is of adequate height. The business end of the muddler is well suited to the job. The nylon or plastic or whatever it is, does a fine job. The material allows for adequate twisting of the fruit as well as the product has enough weight to smash if that is more your style. It isn't to say it is heavy, but well suited to the task.My only complaint here is the rubber bands at the top. They look nice, however one continues to roll out of the groove where it is intended to live. I understand it is supposed to be there to give you some control especially if your hand was wet, but I honestly see that as non-functional. At least with these bands like that. I assume over time they will one by one break or dissappear. Not that it would render it useless just not adding a lot of value to the peice aside from asthetics. At any rate the muddler feels as though it will definitely last a life time. It also comes with some nice freebie recipes and muddler tips. I think the Internet can deliver me more recipes for drinks quicker than going hunting for this info they gave you, but it was a nice gesture.Overall it feels like and looks like a premium product. I look forward to muddling for years to come with this muddler.

A really cool muddler marred by some downright baffling design goof
If you booze it up the fancy way, you drink cocktails. and if you drink cocktails, you'll eventually see a recipe that call for muddling something. since you're fancy (hey, you drink cocktails after all), you know muddling is a fancy term for crushing the everliving crap out of a fruit or herb (but not too much!), in combination with sugar, salt, ice, or bitters. can't you just squeeze the lime wedge? NO YOU HAVE TO MUDDLE PHILISTINE. Ok, but you can't do that with a spoon. Enter this cool looking steel muddler! You think you're fancy?? Look at this muddler! It's fancier than you! the bottom has a diamond crenelated bottom for maximum muddling carnage (I'm looking at you, the tactilol crowd), and three rubber grip rings (fancy term for black rubber orings or bands), for added grip. And, that's where this cool looking muddler falls a bit apart. Those three rubber rings sit inside grooves, supposedly to retain the rings in place, and the box include an extra set of rings. How thoughtful! Except after you use the muddler for the first time you realize why they're there. turns out, the grooves are so shallow, they are basically decorative and not structural. And by that I mean the damn rings slip and slide willy nilly. Couldn't they machine the grooves like an extra 1/8 of a inch and make it so much better?? Baffling. So here is my advice to you; lose the rings and forget they ever existed. then you are left with a SLEEK, fancy muddler.I received this item at a discount for review, but its ratings are based on its merits alone.

Good muddler, but the rings could be tighter
The little rings on the end are prone to wandering off, but the muddler itself feels quite nice, does a good job, and cleans fairly easily.

Hardy, Great Weight, does the job it is asked to do
Hardy little muddler, has a good weight to it and a fine grip. These folks know how to give a good first impression, the box packing is great, reminded me of something Apple would do in their design (go over-the-top for a common device).Muddler works well muddling many different products, we've used it on both mint and apples for specific cocktails and it was delicate enough to muddle the mint without tearing but strong enough to bust through apples and create a good muddle for the shaker. No complaints.

You can use a light touch for the mints and it works nicely. Cleans up easy afterward
Been using it to muddle limes and mints for mojitos. You can use a light touch for the mints and it works nicely. Cleans up easy afterward. The free recipes and tips e-books you can get after buying the product are great.

What an easy and awesome muddled
What an easy and awesome muddled! The stainless steel is awesome because it won't stain and it is easy to wash. The only thing I don't like or understand are the three bands of rubber on the bottom because they don't seem to have a purpose, but come off really easily. Other than that it works really well and is easy to use. It is nice because it's so easy to clean especially because we just left off the three rubber parts. I probably won't purchase another one just because we don't need it, but if I did need it I wouldn't be opposed to buying his again. I received this product at a reduced rate to test and review it.

The teeth of the muddling end are well designed and great for squishing out all the juices while not over-pulverizing ...
Simply a solid product, I'm please with the grip on the handle, the silicon bands really improve my ability to hold on. The teeth of the muddling end are well designed and great for squishing out all the juices while not over-pulverizing the fruit.

Nice Muddler
The Floeberg cocktail muddler is a well made tool. I've been using it for about a month now and I'd recommend it. I run the video series Better Cocktails at Home so I've had many experiences with different muddlers.Pros* Nice packaging* Size of the muddler is compact, but not too small. Makes it easy to control when muddling ingredients in a rocks glass* Easy to clean* Feel comfortable and solid in the handCons*The rubber rings intended to provide grip, don't really do much
