Cobra Artist Water Mixable Oil Colour - Titanium White 40ml Tube

I’ve been using Cobra for 10 years. The colors and ease of brush stroke is great. The clean up without chemicals is my reason for switching from oils.

I've only tried a couple other brands of water mixables in the past. I did not like those at all. These are very much different! I will switch when I use up my regular paints.

I use these paints for larger paintings at 18x24, One tube will maybe last a painting and a half if you stretch it.

A lot of artists like Royal Talens Cobra because they have a working feel much like regular oils. These have a somewhat soft, light, buttery feel. I prefer a thicker, denser feel, with more brush drag - it's entirely personal preference. When dried, most Cobra colors remain more glossy than other oil paints I've tried - an attribute I love. Cobra Study is a lower-cost version with less pigmentation but is still decent. These paints are made in the Netherlands. Cobra and Rembrandt have one of the best cap designs among oil paints. Unlike the tiny, difficult-to-grip caps used on many other brands, these are large and easy to grip - no need to use pliers to twist off stuck-on caps.

Not the best to make Bob Ross clouds. As soon as I twisted open the tube lid, oil squirted out first and then paint. Paint and oil were separated. When I mixed them together, it ended up making the paint very thin. The consistency would be similar to liquid/magic white in Bob Ross world. I prefer the Windsor Newton brand for this color. Although I did buy a different color from a different seller in the same brand, and that color turned out great! No oil-paint separation and thicker paint consistency overall. So perhaps this tube had been sitting in the warehouse for too long? Not sure. I will try this brand again, but perhaps not buy from this seller.

Uso questi colori da un po' di anni e mi trovo benissimo. Hanno tutte le qualità dei colori ad olio, ma asciugano più in fretta e sono inodore. Spero che aumentino la cartella colori

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Die Farbe ist top, cremig und deckend. Sie vergilbt nicht und ist sehr lange haltbar.

A great brand if you want to avoid toxic fumes hazardous chemicals. It's the way to go for artists.
