It arrived on time, though upon opening the package, I noticed that at least one of the cartridges is leaking. It’s contained in the packaging and didn’t get anywhere else, and the rest of the cartridges are still usable, so I’m not docking too many points. It’s been cold so it’s possible one of them burst, or it wasn’t sealed fully in the factory, (it happens to everyone) I don’t know. It’s likely I got one that slipped through QC or something happened in transit. But with as long as these things last me, losing one or two isn’t the end of the world, especially if this is just a fluke and I got unlucky. Overall, the ink is great, it arrived quickly and slots right into my pen, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who’s needing ink for their fountain pens. (I’d just let them know they may get one or two that arrive leaky in the pack.)Overall, though, I’ll definitely be ordering again when I need more!

I have been a LAMY fan for years, but needed something more agreed upon as indelible for regulatory compliance in my new workplace. Platinum Carbon ink has been perfect for my needs. Ordering imported refills, I wasn't sure how many would make it intact... but 18 of 20 arriving in a usable condition and the packaging keeping the two burst refills from leaking out into the envelope was the best I could hope for.

These cartridges work just the same as the original ones that come with the Platinum pens.They're nice because an extra one can be carried with the pen. This way you can quickly replace the ink and keep on writing when the one in your pen goes dry.If you're going to carry spares you'll need to carry them carefully to prevent them from leaking and making a mess.

If you are a person who uses fountain pens a lot I highly recommend buying these in bulk. Great ink for writing and sketching. Has a nice controlled flow of ink distribution due to the ball baring. Doesn’t clog or dry up inside the ink well, overall excellent. Make sure it dose fit your pen, breach point is smaller than most conventional fountain pens.

They fit the pen as the manufacturer specified and the ink color is a deep black.

I found the Plaisir Platinum Fine Point Fountain Pen in a stationary store and an employee allowed me to use hers. She explained that the ink cartridges last longer, the issue of the nib drying out is de minimus. I bought one and some ink cartridges. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE PEN AND INK!!! I’ve used fountain pens for over 25 years. So I ordered three more on Amazon so that I could have four different ink colors (green, purple, black, and only blue-black or light blue, not a standard blue ink - which is my only criticism). The flow of the pen and ink is so smooth and nice, the ink does not bleed through the paper, and the ink cartridge itself, lasts so much longer than other brands of ink cartridges. Also the pen and cartridges are affordable!
