Burton Men's Evergreen Hooded Down Insulator

Purchased for my tall (6'-2") and slim (31" waist) son, this jacket in a 'S' fit perfectly. It has nice long sleeves which was important to him. The cut is relatively short in the front but drops down nicely on the backside some. It has good looks and is super comfortable. It's light-weight, has plenty of pockets, and a generously sized hood. It's filled with natural goose down, so it does a good job of regulating body temperature. He's worn it for skiing in temperatures of both -20C and +5C, and was never too cold or too warm. The actual color is a little darker and less metallic than in the listing photo, so I've attached a photo of my own to give you a better idea.

This down jacket is a very good deal, but there's a design flaw that makes it uncomfortable to wear. The arm holes near the pit is slightly too small and it digs into your underarms, making mobility an issue. It's otherwise a near perfect jacket. All other parts of the jacket fit nicely and I love the slightly tapered area above the waist.I'm an average guy, 5'9" 145lbs, 31" waist and 36" chest so I bought the recommended size small. I'm athletic and fit, but don't have extra weight or muscle by any means. It would be too big had I gotten a medium.

Warm and lightweight. Nice cut and my son loves it.

I wanted to love this jacket. It looks great and is comfortable and warm, but within minutes of opening it from the packaging, feathers were falling out. Wore it to the store and when I came home, my black shirt was spotted with little white feathers. If they fixed this, it would be perfect but as is, have to return.
