Vic Firth Drumming Gloves - Large

Been playing drums for many years…. Noticed I don’t have the grip like I used to at 60. I started dropping a stick here and there and with some arthritis setting in, I needed some help. Never wore gloves playing drums before but thought I would give them a try. Man, what a great difference!!! Practiced for 3 hrs tonight with them and never dropped one stick. Also didn’t affect my speed at all. I give these glove a 5 star!!

I did a test between these and the Zild's. These actually last without ripping at the crucial forefinger and thumb grip area when playing German or American grip. They are a little think, I must say, but I have gotten used to them. They don't tear which is fantastic. The Zildjian gloves are more comfortable but tear within 20 to 30 hours of playing. I recommend these gloves. So far the best I've used

Until I get my hands back in "sticks don't slide" shape, I need gloves. These have been the best I've used compared to the myriad of drum company gloves (YMMV). I have to do some alteration on the lefthand glove to allow my ring and pinkie fingertips to be uncovered to use my phone/iPad, but they hold up well enough that it's time and money well spent.

I played 10 hour straight and didn't get one blister, so they served the purpose. They may stretch over time, yet I wish I got a larger size. Great grip for the sticks and they allow good air flow.

Ordered these gloves based on the reviews . Ordered the large size based on recommendations and it was a good choice and very comfortable. However one of the ends of the fingers blew out in less than an hour of use probably due to poor stitching. And the black dye stained my hands pretty black and took several washing sessions with dish washing soap to get it off my hands (way worse than the Zildjian gloves). Will keep searching…
