I have now used this kit on two RV couches and a pick up truck seat and it works! It's easy to make the mixture and get a matching tone. It does dry clear so the patch will look wet which will not always match even if the color matches. My pictures show this on the truck seat--the dog's nails made a rip in the seat and this kit repaired it well. It's been over 6 months and hasn't reopened yet! It sets quickly but I left it for 24 hours to make sure. Easy clean up with rubbing alcohol. The brush that comes with it is just a cheap kids paintbrush--but cotton swab work too.

We like this product. It works really well so far. Our RV seats were falling apart, and this stopped the spread. I'm not a great color matcher, but for what I needed it was good.

With so many base colors and a chart guide to mix properly, it’s easy to get the perfect match for whatever color you need. The quality is good, and it comes with all the pieces you need to mix. Overall, really pleased. I got it for furniture but more often than not, I use it on my shoes!

IMPOSSIBLE to perfectly match colors. Extremely difficult to just get kind of close color matching. I have a mess on car's console.

The vinyl seat in our golf cart cracked from the heat. I used the black color of the product pack. I didn't want to put it on too thick, so I built up the repair in three steps, waiting two days between each application. It has worked perfectly. It was also extremely easy to paint on and clean-up was a breeze.

Picked this kit up to try to repair some seat tears in a vehicle.The tears in the seat were fairly sizable and used the majority of the colors needed to try to color match.The color chart that was provided should be used as a baseline then start adding in small amounts. My experience was that I got half way there and had to add other colors to get closer but not 100% as the photos show.With more time and practice I’m sure one could get closer to a perfect match but you may run out of color before that. ( manufacturer does note that if you do you can reach out for a bit more. Though I’m not sure how that would play out if your working with larger repairs such as the one in this review )Given the material has perforations made it somewhat difficult to get a smooth repair and in hindsight, applying the color mixture underneath to the backing cloth may have worked better. It may have also required more than one application and in this case I had run out of color to mix.As this was more for function and not aesthetics, the rips are patched up and holding well, and will be covered with a complete seat cover next but knowing the ripping will not continue underneath.If I had a smaller repair on a couch or chair or shoe or even another smaller tear in a leather seat, I’d still recommend this kit under the premise that color matching will most likely waste most of your color and may require an additional kit as ratios are “eyeballed” and hard to reproduce accurately for large batch repairs.

Super easy to use, I lucked out and didn't even need to mix any colors, one of the tubes was the exact color I needed.

This repair kit took care of our leather problem and cleaned up the appearance too. It was very easy.
