Old World Art Gold Leafing Kit

It’s not as easy as it looks but the result is nice

This product has all the options you need to make a very nice "gold leaf" project look really spiffy. The gluey stuff dries very rapidly (way less than the hour they mention in instructions) and there is a ton of metal leaf to use on your projects. I tried the antiquing formula that they included and although it worked as advertised I chose to not use it in my final product and just re-applied the leaf. My project came out very nice and the recipient was well pleased with it.

I spent a lot of time carving this wooden nickle. This was my first attempt at gilding. I am very happy with the results. It does require patience. Watch some videos prior to your trial run.

I bought this as a gift to my mom. She used to gold leaf paint when she was younger and always talked about getting back into it. I had a hard time finding a good starter kit, but she likes this one.

Haven't had a chance to work with this yet, but it looks complete and a good value.

The kit I bought, when opened up there was gold leaf all over the place. I didnt get one single sheet of gold leaf in tact. Dont buy this product

This is an easy to use kit. And I've made some pretty cool things. I would recommend this to anyone (especially beginners).
