Not Stainless Steel
I don't normally even leave reviews, but this one really got me. I wonder why "Old School" is in quotation marks? Kind of lets them off the hook? As soon as I opened the package I said to myself "this isn't stainless steel!" You could see an obvious flaw in the "coating." Looks like there's something to make it look like real stainless steel. I wonder what is it and how healthy it is? Haven't even tried it yet, and yes it's quite a bit smaller than "Old School" peelers.

Easy to peel
This is so easy to use. It’s just like the one my mom had many years ago.

Minimalist and pretty good
Minimalist and old-fashioned. It seemed to take a period of breaking in, but it works well now. Cleanup is practically instantaneous. I've had much worse performance from much more expensive peelers (looking at you, Oxo Good Grips). I do wish it was available as a Y-shaped, rather than a straight peeler, but it's a good purchase.
