Although the plant looks very delicate because of the extremely lacy foliage, it is actually quite sturdy and holds up well against heat and humidity. I remember the first time I saw this maple. My jaw dropped and I started drooling. I have never seen a finer leaf on any plant. 'Red Filigree Lace' is a gorgeous cascading weeper. Ideal as a specimen, a foundation for a large building, or even a container plant, as well as bonsai. A gorgeous tree!

She waited too long to tell me how big it actually was and that it was half dead ...now it is too late to return it. She is going to try to keep it alive in hopes she can plant it next year. Do yourself a favor .. save your money and DO NOT buy this!

### ⭐ Recieved a half dead stick

I bought this tree as a gift for my mother, who lives in another state. This is what she recieved. It is about 6 inches tall. She waited too long to tell me how big it actually was and that it was half dead ...now it is too late to return it. She is going to try to keep it alive in hopes she can plant it next year. Do yourself a favor .. save your money and DO NOT buy this!

### ⭐ Always arrives damaged

This was the second tree I ordered, I returned the first one as it arrived dried out. I planted it to give it a chance but no growth in 29 days so I returned it. The second one (along with 3 others) arrived very damaged with a box marked "received open and damaged" by USPS. The second one arrived with the trunk snapped off, as were 2 others. Out of 4 trees only 1 is in good shape and will be kept.
