Ok so we are on kid number three spanning 9 years at this point, the first two I was the stay at home dad. Some how on the first one we still ended up with the purse diaper bag, it lasted about a week and fell apart thankfully. I made due through two kids with a canvas messenger bag that held everything but honestly was a mess all the time.If only I had this bag.Ok, so lets be real, yes you could just get a backpack and that would probably be ok. But some of the things you miss out on include a dedicated wipe pouch and the thermal pockets. You could make up for this by adding in a lunch box but that burns up space.So the Active Doodie. You get all of the functional aspects of a dedicated diaper bag, mixed with the aspects of a multi pocket well organized backpack. This thing has so much space that I can't fill it with baby stuff unless I pack most of his room into it. Which is great, because I can add my stuff, the other kids stuff, the wife's stuff. It all fits and stays organized.If this thing holds up to the punishment of being tossed into and out of a car, throw down in parks and restaurants, and generally mistreated like most things around kids, it will be perfect. I will update in a few months.
