Good quality book at affordable price
Just now received my book. Book quality is too good. There’re 4 chapters in this book. It’s just a small book (132 pages) with so much information and beginner friendly book. Worth the money

Prefer more modern rendition
Few things to note 1. The translation of the sutra is almost verbatim, which makes understanding a little difficult 2. The explanation slightly takes away from the main sutra and then comes back the topic, thereby creating some diversion in thoughts Overall, the summary is precise and gives a general idea about the 196 sutras. I would suggest to look for more modern renditions to get better clarity on the sutras.

A guide for the seekers, who wanna know, how the mind works.
The book is good and the content is great .., Vivekanandan’s proficiency in English language is bit difficult to match. Took lot of time to read the book, given the style of writing.

A cryptic guide to life
This ancient classic is not about yoga as an exercise. It is the foundation of the Yoga philosophy of Hinduism. Yoga is related to the word yoke. One practices Yoga to yoke himself to God. An outline of the 8 steps of Yoga is provided, known as Ashtanga (eight limbs) Yoga or Raja (royal) Yoga. They begin with the 5 Yamas and 5 Niyamas, 10 ethical teachings very similar to the Ten Commandments. The third step is the familiar Asana (pose) Yoga, followed by the fourth step, Pranayama (breath exercise), similar to Qigong. Beyond this, one moves eventually towards concentration, meditation, and enlightenment.
