Oasis Supply, 2000 Piece 4" Laminated Paper Twist Ties, BULK with Dispenser Box (RED)

I'm sure there are people who have legitimate reasons to bulk order 2000 green twist ties. I'm not not one of them. I just wanted to tie some fake vines onto a bamboo screen in a way that wouldn't draw too much attention to how they were attached, and this seemed like a good idea. It worked perfectly -- you can't see the ties in that sea of green plastic leaves -- but I should also concede that my use case is probably not typical. The ties seem to be high quality, and the wire in each seems acceptably beefy. The paper laminate is thick and robust. Over all, these seem to be a commercial-grade kind of tie. They seem more sturdy and reliable than the twist ties that come on bread or with cheap garbage bags. I'm sure there are much higher-grade versions of twist ties out there, but these are perfect for what they are.

I purchased these to place inside my fabric masks as nose bridge fit. I have made hundreds of masks for friends, families, and donation to homeless shelters and these ties made it really functional. They hold up in the washing machine since they are made of plastic and don’t disintegrate when wet.

We have ordered these three other times in the past several years to use to close our kettle corn bags for our concession business and they've always been great. BUT, this last batch (2000 of them!) are slightly wider, the paper is thinner and possibly the wire is thinner too. Whatever the change was the paper falls off after about 1 twist and the tiny little wire is very sharp. I've had to throw many of these away, it slows down the twist process as we have to be extra careful that they don't tear and leave the wire exposed, and I worry about our customers, if they are resealing them after eating part of the popcorn, that they will poke their fingers. I've drawn blood poking my fingers just trying to retie a few of the ties after the paper fell off. We just don't reseal them now and have to use a new twist tie and hope that doesn't tear too. We are really disappointed by the drop in quality of this product.

I am a part of a free site online called H.O.P.E. (helping other people every day ). I took this box of 2000 ties and cut everyone of them in half and I now have 4000, which will last me a very long time. They come in so handy for this site that I help with. I have these tiny bags that I also ordered off of Amazon, these ties are perfect for those little bags.

These are nice pretty and very good quality sturdy but I did not like the Box they came in the bottom of it appeared dirty I took them out and put them in a plastic bag.

Just what you'd expect, you can twist them around a plastic bag's opening and close it right up. Being green they can be used unobtrusively in a garden, too.

The twist ties are sturdy and twist easily to secure bags of bread. We even like the little box it arrives in because we can easily grab a tie to use but it also keeps unused ties secure.

These cost a little more than the ones I usually buy from a local person but they are a lot better. I will buy them from now on.

The color is dark unlike in the picture advertisements and they are not laminated just cheap paper
