Advice from others warned against a vessel sink because inherent drawbacks: most sinks rest on the 1.5" drain hole and need to be stabilized; too much pressure on the edges and it can break or damage the sink; no overflow; and shallowness of sinks means their will be splashback and wetness on countertop. Hmmmm. Then I found this sink that overcomes those drawbacks. 1) Had to have a smaller sink for a 30" countertop; doubt if there is anything that compares in size, price and quality. 2) still no overflow, but so long as I don't leave the room with the water running, no problem. 3) the sink is extremely sturdy, and stable and beautiful; it sits on a base that is 6"x9". The sides of the sink easily captures splashes and its design makes it is easy to clean inside and out. I coupled it with Krause faucet, and popup drain, also from Amazon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't beat the price, great quality *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2016* Beautiful! I love, love, love this sink. And you cannot beat the price. My countertop installers were amazed at the price I got this for. It's well built, it arrived safely, without any damage and was well packed between two thick pieces of styrofoam, tightly fit in the box. The size is perfect for our guest bathroom, which has a smaller size countertop. I love the egg shape, which adds some aesthetic to the look of the sink.It's high quality, and I think it will last for some time. Nice and glossy coating, so it's easy to wipe clean. Do not use any abrasive cleaners to help it last a long time. We mounted our faucet off to the side at an angle, which looks really nice as well. Just make sure your countertop installers know what they're doing when they drill holes for this. You have to take into consideration the distance from the sink to the faucet to ensure it's not splashing or hitting the bowl wrong. Thankfully, I didn't have to think about it too much because they had done thousands of these installs.You can't beat the price for this kind of quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ substantial. *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2019* Just finally had the sink installed during a renovation. It looks awesome sitting on the small antique vanity (commode) that I had covered in marble trim and cut "stones." It was perfect size allowing for a tall faucet to fit between it and the built in towel rack. The plumber had no trouble with the installation, just using caulking to adhere it down as it has a nice wide, flat bottom. He was glad it was not a glass sink as they apparently come with problems. Looks substantial and sleek in a grey and white powder room with large subway tiles and marble accents.
