Heavy duty
Not sure what another reviewer meant by being lightweight and cheap, but this unit is anything but. This thing is made of strong channel and lifts our RV well for leveling. Very adjustable for frame width. Because it is strong, the mounting brackets are wide. Be sure you have enough room for it. You will need a floor jack to lift it for mounting and a bit of mechanical ability. We fabricated a mount for the switches.

works great in conjunction with the Reese Landing Gear System to create a leveling system
installation was easy only required a set of drills and a good drill motor. My Dewalt 20 Volt drill worked quite nicely to drill through the tough frame. To change the side by side level by one full bubble it takes 5 seconds when used in conjunction with the Reese 500708 Fifth Wheel RV Landing Gear System, Single Output 8K Static, 8K Lift. I did have to run #6 wire from the rear jacks to the switch panel in the front of the fifthwheel. I installed the wires in a loom down each side of the frame rails up to the jack switches on the front of the fifthwheel. So far so good they work great.

Super heavy and strong!!!
This unit is heavy and comes with required wiring and switches for my installation. You will need hardware to attach to the frame. Had to modify the frame to fit on my older 5th wheel. Went with this unit as it has the independent leg controls. Meant to stabilize your trailer NOT lift the tires off the ground, if you need that buy something else.

They are made cheap!
These things are junk! do NOT waist your money! They had to have been made in China, if not then the manufacturer should be ashamed for selling these. The concept seems great, but the design is flimsy. They do not make the camper more stable, well, maybe 10% more stable. I have a 7,000 lb camper they are rated for 6,000 lb. if that is true then they should lift the back of the camper, they don't because they are to cheaply made. I recommend just getting a floor jack and four medium or heavy duty jack stands. Then if you have a flat tire you will have a nice jack to use instead of the vehicle jack. I have three utility trailers and a camper I always carry a floor jack when I leave town. Everything about these are lite duty.

Great product, missing a few screws.
After reading the first review I was apprehensive to purchase it at first, but after also consulting several 5th wheel forums I was confident that this would do a better job than the OEM setup. Here is what is important to understand: This leveler/stabilizer can be used to level the 5th wheel or trailer side to side with the aid of the landing gear to some degree, but not to the extend that you can lift up so much that you have the tires off the ground. My original 5th wheel had a very similar setup but with only one motor and one spindle extending to both jacks. The sway bars (for better lack of terminology) that help prevent front to back motion are far superior on this product than they were on the original - again if you intend to lift the entire rig off the ground with these, it will be the first part that fails because the tires in conjunction with chokes that would otherwise be part of the support would be missing and all the energy would transfer to these sway bars. They are simply not made to handle that stress. The only two gripes I had were the fact that the mounting hardware for the motors was missing and there was no assembly drawing at all. Luckily the landing gear is from the same company using the exact same motors, so I was able to take a sample screw to the hardware store and get a set of 8 (4 for each motor) and the internet provided the needed assistance with the assembly. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star rating.

Stability at its finest.
Works great. Would suggest including a measurement for the length of the “stabilizer arms” that run length of trailer. In case any interference with equipment already on undercarriage.

When shipment arrived only three items of the assembly arrived (bracket, foot, and support) other more important parts such as the motors drive shafts etc. all missing.
