This is such an awesome machine. I purchased my first one (blue) from Temu. It rattled right out of the box, very unstable, and lasted no time. This new one is the upgraded version and exceeds the other by far! Thank you Amazon!!!!

Received the 48 needle knitting machine. Easy set up. There is a QR code for basic instructions, but go on YouTube and look up tutorials for the Sentro 48 peg machine. Very good tutorials help you immediately get started. I made an entire hat within an hour of setting mine up. Very easy once you get the hang of it. Happy with this purchase so far. Definitely get the upgraded model as it comes with clamps to secure it to a table edge. Not sure if the sturdiness, it’s brand new so, we’ll see. It’s seems durable, but it is plastic so. For the money, I’d say it’s worth it. Selling 5 small knitted items at a craft fair will pay for it. You can make, hats, scarves, toys, sweaters, anything really. It knits in the round and you can knit flat panels and join them together for big projects. I’m happy I finally made the decision to try it out.

a lot of people have a lot to say about this. i have had no issues at all. i will say the traction little thingy that holds the yarn isn’t the best so ive just been holding it by hand and had no issues. i have used merino wool, mohair, and other natural yarns and they have all worked perfectly. all different sizes with no issues. you just have to pay attention to make sure it’s all going in well especially with thinner yarns. the knit looks great i made some arm warmers with it and using the machine was the easiest and less time consuming part of the project. it took me a few tries to figure out how to actually work it but it was a breeze after that. the package also came with yarn needles and a little crochet hook. the crochet hook sucks but the needles are perfect. also came with some waste yarn which i have used and been happy with. only annoying thing is when using panel it doesn’t count the panels for you so i’ve been counting in tens and writing it down in my notes app for larger projects.

I purchased this item for my 12 year old daughter. She LOVES this thing. It comes with everything you need, especially the yarn. I do recommend to purchase more yarn as the projects will start flowing from this machine once you get the hang of it. Pros: A great price if you have someone who has an interest in knitting hats. Easy to operate and great performance, as long as you follow the instructions to start your project. There hasn't been any issues with size 4 yarn, as some have stated to have. Cons: The item does skip a stitch from time to time, but if you keep your eye on it as you go, you can fix it.

UPDATE 4-30-25: REALLY DONT BUY THIS JUNK. I abandoned one project because the machine simply wouldn't work with the yarn. Started a new project using the same brand of yarn as a quasi-successful project previously completed but in a different color. This time the yarn doesn't work. There are dropped stitches everywhere - so many that I have restarted three times. Even the successful projects have required stitch repairs where the machine didn't make the stitch properly but there were few enough that the finished project wasn't ruined. Have tried two different yarns this morning with multiple restarts. No joy. To add insult to injury, the machine has started generating small white flakes of uncertain origin. Am now going to toss the 'knitter' into the trash. It's not even good enough to be relegated to a child's toy. PS - I have more than 50 years of experience with all types of fiber arts - knitting, crocheting, sewing, felting, quilting, etc. I have never encountered a product that was such a miserable failure at the most basic level. REALLY - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK. Don't buy it. 1. suction cups will not secure the machine so you will be trying to control tension on the yarn AND hold the machine from sliding around. Only solution is to build a base and bolt the machine down. It is still not sturdy, however. 2. VERY picky about what yarn will go smoothly through the machine. Some heavy yarns work great. Others won't work at all. Some mid weight yarns work beautifully. Others - same weight but different fiber/twist - simply don't work at all. Light weight yarn is a nightmare. 3.Randomly drops stiches even on yarn it likes and you won't notice for several rows. Although it's fixable, it's tedious to hook the stiches back. 4. Speed matters. Going 'fast' means dropping many stitches so you don't actually save any time because you spend so much time fixing the drops. Going very, very slow is the only solution. At some point, though, you wonder if it would be less frustrating and almost as fast to just pick up your knitting needles. When you magically find the right yarn it likes, it makes a lovely knitted piece. Unfortunately, that only happens about 25% of the time. Sadly for me, I assumed the problems were new user error and kept trying different techniques. Return period has now passed and I wish I'd returned it instead of trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. As an experienced fiber artist, I expected to have a learning curve on a new tool. I did not expect the tool would, basically, be a piece of plastic rubbish. This is not value for money. It is not a dependable knitting machine.

The old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ holds true with this item. It scoots when you turn the handle, not all 4 worsted yarn works in this machine—drop stitches/hidden stitches, it didn’t have concise instructions for use. Having said that, to learn in general how to use a crank style knitting machine, it’s okay but for serious, frequent use I don’t recommend.

Wonderful machine. Easy to use and works consistently well. Great results every time.

A four because it’s made with cheap plastic and can’t handle a lot of tension, but I’m happy with it and it gets the job done. I don’t foresee it lasting with heavy use, so will need to take it easy and be gentle with it if I want it to last. Please educate yourself before purchasing so you don’t break it.

Todo muy bien, pero yo planeaba tejer gorros para adulto y quedan pequeños, bien para niños. Se pueden tejer bufandas y piezas planas también.

Its only been a few days but the machine runs very smoothly and the knit fabrics are coming out great. Easy to follow instructions. Feels sturdily made. Even comes with a tiny screwdriver to screw the legs to the base with. The 48 pin makes a great adult sized hat

Wife loves it. Not perfectly accurate on stitch count, we bought a stitch counter to go with it and it is perfect.
