The size fits us just well. We had a electric bottle to boil water and the size of these two just match, making it a perfect container for hot tea. The lid has two outlets. One is a big opening and the other is made of various small holes. We typically use the latter. This way we do not need to worry about the tea leaves dropping into the cup. We have been using this bottle both for ice water and boiled water (not one right after the other) and it works nicely.

Glass seems thin, but the heat resistance to hot brewed tea coming into is the real deal...works perfect. No heat sink needed like my small glass carafe I had. And by the way....does not drip when you poor. Nice looking and love the lid to keep the brewed tea fresh. Would buy again if needed.

This is a very nice glass bottle. Other than it’s nice look, the product also features glass with very good quality: it looks robust and it’s crystal-transparent. The size fits us just well. We had a electric bottle to boil water and the size of these two just match, making it a perfect container for hot tea. The lid has two outlets.
