Incredible value!
Best purchase I've made all month! All 20 tested good. I used 8 of these to repair my 1986 Radio Shack clock-radio. All of the TIME, ALARM, SLEEP, etc soft rubber buttons had gone bad... I was able to solder these switches to the contact area of the PCB, and then trim the existing plastic buttons for proper operation. Happy camper!

Fixed my $170 Zojirushi water boiler
We have a $170 Zojirushi water boiler that works perfectly, except that over time the switch for the "Unlock" button stopped working, so the water boiler no longer dispenses hot water. A replacement water boiler cost $170 (+ tax). Not ready to throw away the old one, I figured there is not much to lose to try to repair it (otherwise it goes in the trash). Only needed one switch (20 pcs were in the pack, so 19 more spares). I took the entire water boiler apart (disassembly is from the bottom, with a security type star bit), removed the old switch, and soldered in place this new switch. The water boiler is now working again perfectly. The only difference is that the old switches used in the water boiler were silent, and this switch has a fairly loud click. Not a big deal, but the difference is noticeable. For take the price of the 20 pack, divide by 20, add some labor, and the cost to fix the boiler is well worth it. Just check the pin spacing and height for whatever you are trying to build and repair to make sure it fits your need. In my case, both height and pin spacing (pre-measured with callipers against website information) ensured that the part was a perfect fit.

Fits in
These worked pefect for my little project. The 4 pin buttons kept getting bent. Not an issue with these. They fit nicely in the bread board. Looks like they'll solder nicely in a printed circuit board too. Glad to have them.

Standard Buttons
I mean what can you say, they're a bunch of buttons. Works nicely. Has the standard audible click these buttons are known for. Small size but useful. I think you could get them cheaper from Digikey/Mouser but you'd be paying more in shipping.

Reliable pushbutton tactile switch
When I breadboard a tactile switch in an electronic design project, I hope for good contact, and durability in the switch. In the manufacturer’s design, the leads are long enough to make good contact when used with a standard solderless breadboard. These switches were used successfully to push-on then release-off the contacts. In our build, pushing on and then releasing the button allowed our supporting circuitry to trigger a short bounceless pulse to the IC’s clock input. This was used in a simple digital design that allowed 4 leds to binary count from 0 to 15. The switches were reliable and fun to use.

Great little switch
At 6mm by 6mm this is a very small switch. With that size you can put a switch every 7.5mm on your breadboard. The tactile feel is very good. A firm but not hard push is required. You will feel a positive drop in the button when contact is made. About 2mm of the wire pins extend into the breadboard making positive connection. The pins are not round, so the edges will generate sufficient force to make contact. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Had to replace a lot of switches on a Arcam cd player. This model fitted perfectly. Easy to solder and a direct replacement for the old faulty ones.
