I live in the "deep south" and we lose power during strong storms somewhat regularly. For those unfamiliar with the humidity in the south, a fan is a matter of basic life support here in the summer without power, so I needed a good one! I have a very small battery backup system, basically enough for some lighting, a couple fans, chargers, radio, etc. In terms of power consumption, this performs as, or slightly better than advertised running at 12.9 volts, and moves a TON of air for such a low current draw.
