How do you use it hot as it details in the name?

For hot relief: put in microwave for 20 seconds For cold relief: freezer for 2hrs

one of the gel packets has already split and i have lost some of the gel. what can i use to mend it as problem keeping holding tape on in the freezer.

I would try Duck tape to hold it but you would be better off contacting the customer service team and getting it replaced as I have mine a while and did not spilt, It may be a fault with your product

Do i stick these on the knickers then a pad over it?

HI, ....freeze the gel pad and insert it into the material pad cover provided in the box. Then insert the covered gel strip into the knickers like a normal pantie liner - don't add another pad between the gel and your skin or it will limit the effect. Another way I used it was I used it in its cover and without the pants at all. I applied it direct to my skin as needed. It was phenomenal. Bought another pair immediately. Highly recommended.
